Abstract:
The present invention discloses a communication method for transmitting multimedia data during a call between terminals. The method comprises: receiving a multimedia data transmission request initiated from one of the terminals in the call; and responsive to the request, transmitting the multimedia data to one or more of the terminals in the call.
Abstract:
A test sensor includes a body, a first conductive trace, a second conductive trace, and a third conductive trace. The body includes a first region that has a fluid-receiving area, a second region separate from the first region, and a first temperature sensing interface disposed at or adjacent to the fluid-receiving area. The fluid-receiving area receives a sample. The first trace is disposed on the body, and at least a portion of the first trace is disposed in the first region. The second and third traces are disposed on the body. The third trace extends from the first to the second regions. The third trace is connected to the first trace at the first temperature sensing interface. The third trace includes a different material than the first trace. A first thermocouple is formed at the first temperature sensing interface. The thermocouple provides temperature data to determine an analyte concentration.
Abstract:
A container includes a container body having a receiving cavity and a container opening communicating with the receiving cavity, a cover panel movably coupled mounted at the container opening to fold between a closed position and an opened position, and an induction actuation system. The induction actuation system includes an actuation unit to automatically drive the cover panel moving between the closed position and the opened position in responsive to a presence of a user and a power recharging arrangement which includes a battery unit detachably supported by the container body, wherein the battery unit is mounted at the container body to electrically connect to the actuation unit for resuming proper operation thereof and is detached from the container body for recharging purpose.
Abstract:
A user-manipulated door mechanism is mounted on the faceplate of an electronic module for allowing user access to an electrical socket disposed inboard of a faceplate aperture. An inwardly extending rectangular shoulder formed along one edge of the door is rotatably mounted about an axis inboard of the faceplate, and is resiliently engaged by the free end of a cantilevered spring blade inboard of the faceplate. The spring blade engages a first face of the shoulder that is substantially parallel to the door when the door is in a closed position covering the socket, and a second face of the shoulder that is substantially perpendicular to the door when the door is in an open position uncovering the socket.
Abstract:
Example embodiments provide methods of handling transmission of data to a mobile device through multiple channels. One example embodiment includes receiving carrier capacity values from each of a plurality of carrier controllers providing communication for a mobile device over corresponding channels, the carrier capacity values being an estimate of the number of bytes that the carrier controller can send to the mobile device on time; receiving data for the mobile device; and sending the data to the plurality of carrier controllers, the amount of the data sent to each of the carrier controllers being based on the carrier capacity value received from each of the plurality of carrier controllers.
Abstract:
A method of controlling an operation of an induction actuated container cover includes the steps of (a) normally retaining a cover panel of the container cover in a closed position; (b) detecting a target movement of a user by a sensor; (c) generating a first actuating signal to an actuation unit when the sensor detects the target movement of the user; (d) generating an actuation output from the actuation unit to the cover panel of the container cover, wherein the actuation output contains a decelerating and torque enhancing force which moves the cover panel of the container cover at an opened position; (e) pivotally actuating the cover panel of the container cover at the opened position via the actuation output to expose a storage cavity, and (f) generating a second actuating signal to pivotally actuate the cover panel of the container cover back to the closed position.
Abstract:
A horizontal open inducting garbage bin includes a bin body, a bin head, an inducting window, a garbage inlet disposed on the bin head, a bin cover disposed on the garbage inlet, an upright shaft and a drive arrangement for making the upright shaft rotate. The upright shaft is connected to the drive arrangement, and the bin cover is connected to the upright shaft, the connecting point is not at the center of the bin cover. The advantages of the invention are: the rotating shaft of the bin cover is the upright shaft on the bin head, so when the bin cover rotates about the upright shaft, the bin cover opens horizontally about the upright shaft, the drive force is small, low energy is needed, and the user's hand cannot be touched by the bin cover.
Abstract:
Compounds represented by general formula (I), their stereoisomers, tautomers, derivatives, prodrugs or pharmaceutically acceptable salts, and their preparation methods or uses for the manufacture of a medicament of analgesics. In which R1 is selected from H, substituted or unsubstituted phenyl, or substituted or unsubstituted heteroaryl; A is bond, or saturated or unsaturated straight-chain or branched-chain hydrocarbon radical; R2, R3 are each independently hydrogen or methyl, which linked with any position of spirocyclo-structure; n and m are each independently integer between 0-2, do not represent 0 at the same time; B and D are each independently C1-C3 straight-chain or branched-chain alkylene; Y is selected from —CHR4—, O, S, —S(O)—, —SO2—, —NR4— and substituted or unsubstituted phenylene, in which R4 represents H, C1-C6 saturated or unsaturated alkyl, methyl or ethyl substituted by substituted or unsubstituted aryl or heteroaryl; and X− is pharmaceutical acceptable organic or inorganic anion. These compounds can be used as muscarine receptor (M-receptor) and/or nicotine acetylcholine receptor (N-receptor) agonist or antagonist. These compounds have good analgesic effect without side effect such as addiction.

Abstract:
The invention includes a method and apparatus adapted for providing quality-of-service to a packet flow within a Radio Access Network (RAN). In one embodiment, a method includes receiving packets of a packet flow at a first network element of the RAN, where the packet flow is associated with an application normally served in a best effort service class of the RAN and each packet of the packet flow comprises an indication of a quality-of-service policy to be applied to the packet flow within the RAN, and, applying the indicated quality-of-service policy to the packet flow within the RAN. The quality-of-service policy to be applied to the packet flow within the RAN is based on at least one characteristic of the packet flow, which may be determined in any manner, such as using information included in the packet headers, using deep packet inspection techniques, and the like. The indication of the quality-of-service policy to be applied to the packet flow within the RAN may be set either inside the RAN or outside the RAN.
