Abstract: A hammer drill includes a main body which houses a driving motor having a brush and a brush holder unit which holds the brush and switches a position of the brush, and a main handle which is movable to the main body. Further, a coil spring which biases the handle is provided. In a state that the coil spring biases the handle, the handle is moved against the main body in a longitudinal direction of a hammer bit and vibration transmission from the main body to the handle is prevented. Further, interference of a lever of the brush holder unit and the handle is prevented by a part of an opening formed on the handle.

Abstract: An electric power tool according to one aspect of the present disclosure includes a main body, a motor, a tool holder configured to hold a tool bit, a hammer, a motion converter, a rotation transmitter, a first load detector, a second load detector, and a motor controller. The first load detector detects, based on information indicating a drive state of the motor, a load imposed from a work piece to the tool bit. The second load detector detects, based on information indicating a behavior of the main body, a load imposed from the work piece to the tool bit. The motor controller sets an upper limit of rotational speed of the motor to a predetermined no-load rotational speed in response to no-load on the tool bit being detected by both the first load detector and the second load detector.

Abstract: An electric working machine according to one aspect of the present disclosure comprises a brushless motor, a rotational position sensor, a detector, and a calculator. The calculator detects, when the brushless motor is inertially rotated, a difference between a detection result obtained by the rotational position sensor and a detection result obtained by the detector and calculates a correction value, based on the difference, for correcting the detection result obtained by the rotational position sensor.

Abstract: A compression spring is retained in a spring retaining portion provided in a fixing cover. By a pressing portion formed in a main body cover, the compression spring can be pressed to generate a biasing force in an opening direction of the main body cover. The compression spring is retained in the spring retaining portion. Accordingly, the fixing cover and main body cover can be easily assembled.

Abstract: It is an object of the invention to provide an impact tool having a rational mechanism in an idling state. According to the representative invention, in an idling state defined as a state in which a tool accessory 119 is not pressed against a workpiece and an impact bolt 145 transmits a striking force to the tool accessory 119, the tool accessory retainer 510 moves with respect to a tool accessory holder 117 by movement of the tool accessory 119 in the longitudinal direction, so that the striking force is cushioned.
