Abstract:
A shock absorber includes: a cylinder; a piston; a piston rod; and a damping-force generating device that controls a flow of oil, caused by sliding of the piston in the cylinder, wherein the damping-force generating device includes: a valve body that generates a damping force according to opening and closing of the valve body on a channel in which the oil flows; a valve seat on which the valve body seats to close the channel; and an actuator that includes a plunger generating thrust to the valve body in a valve closing direction and a plunger chamber in which the oil is filled in order to actuate the plunger, and the plunger chamber communicates with a downstream side in a flowing direction of the oil with reference to a place where the valve body seats on the valve seat.
Abstract:
A vehicle height adjustment device includes a spring having one end supported on a vehicle body side and another end supported on a wheel side. An adjustor includes an accommodation chamber accommodating fluid and adjusts a length of the spring in accordance with an amount of fluid in the accommodation chamber. A storage chamber stores fluid. A guide passage guides fluid from the accommodation chamber to the storage chamber. An actuator includes an operation rod to press a push rod. A valve body closes the guide passage when seated on a seat and opens the guide passage when pressed and detached from the seat by the push rod. A press member includes a contact portion and a shaft. The press member presses and seats the valve body on the seat. An accommodation member accommodates the valve body and the contact portion. A support member supports the shaft movably.
Abstract:
An air suspension in an embodiment includes: a cylinder; a piston rod; a rod-side member disposed on the lower end side of the piston rod; a diaphragm; an axle-side attachment member having an upper end side of which is fixed to an opening at a lower end of the rod-side member, the axle-side attachment member including a fixing section for fixing the piston rod and an attachment hole joined to an axle; a gas passage formed in the axle-side attachment member, one end of the gas passage being opened to an upper end face of the axle-side attachment member and the other end of the gas passage being opened to a side section of the axle-side attachment member; and a valve section provided at the opening of the other end of the gas passage.
Abstract:
A vehicle height adjustment device includes a spring. An adjustor includes an accommodation chamber accommodating a fluid to adjust a length of the spring based on the fluid amount in the accommodation chamber. A storage chamber stores the fluid. A pump includes a cylinder that takes in the fluid in the storage chamber when a distance between a vehicle body and a vehicle wheel increases, and that discharges the fluid when the distance decreases. A passage switch unit switches among a first state in which the fluid discharged from the pump is guided into the accommodation chamber to increase the fluid amount in the accommodation chamber, a second state in which the fluid in the accommodation chamber is guided into the storage chamber to decrease the fluid amount, and a third state in which the fluid amount is maintained. Without electric current supply, the third state is maintained.
Abstract:
Disclosed is an arm stopper mechanism mounting apparatus including: an output shaft; a housing that is provided with a hole for inspecting the sealability of the interior thereof; a sealing member that seals the hole, and can be detached from the hole when the sealability is inspected; and an arm stopper mechanism that has a steering arm and a stopper. The steering arm includes an output shaft hole into which the output shaft is fitted; two tie rod holes to which the tie rods are respectively attached; and two striking surfaces which strike against the stopper. The stopper includes two contact surfaces. An angle made by the two contact surfaces of the stopper is greater than an angle made by the two striking surfaces of the steering arm, and is 90° or greater.
Abstract:
A reaction force actuator to be used in a steer-by-wire steering device includes an operating-side shaft, a motor, and a friction drive transmission. The operating-side shaft rotates integrally with an operating member that a driver operates. The motor includes a cylindrical motor output shaft disposed coaxially on an outer circumference of the operating-side shaft.
