    Abstract: A ground assembly includes a first layer, a second layer, and a bypass capacitor. The first layer includes a power ground, a communication ground spaced from the power ground, a conductive path defining a parasitic inductance and electrically coupled between the power ground and the communication ground, and an electrically insulating layer. At least a portion of the insulating layer is positioned between the power and communication grounds. The second layer includes a first substrate that is spaced from the power ground to define a first parasitic capacitance therebetween and is spaced from the communication ground to define a second parasitic capacitance therebetween. The bypass capacitor is electrically coupled between the power ground and the first substrate.

    Abstract: A fuse holder for holding a fuse is provided that includes a body, a line side connector supported by the body, and a load side connector supported by the body. The fuse holder also includes a toggle switch supported by the body and capable of toggled engagement in a first position that provides electrical connection. The switch is also capable of toggled engagement in a second position that provides electrical isolation between the line side connector and the load side connector. The fuse holder also includes a fuse carrier. The fuse carrier is supported by the body and adapted for holding the fuse and the fuse carrier is adapted to be removed from the fuse holder. The fuse holder includes a blocking device blocking the toggled engagement of the switch from the second position to the first position when the fuse carrier is not within the fuse holder.

    Abstract: An electric machine is provided. The machine includes a housing and a coil operably connected to the housing. The machine also includes a rotor. The rotor is rotatably secured to the housing and defines a first end of the housing which extends outwardly from a first end of the housing. The machine also includes a locking mechanism connected to the housing and selectively connected to the rotor. The locking mechanism is adapted to selectively provide a first mode in which the rotor may rotate relative to the housing and a second mode in which the rotor may not rotate relative to the housing.

    Abstract: A motor controller for an electric motor is described. The motor controller is coupled to a power line communication connection and includes a communication device coupled to a memory device. The motor controller is configured to receive, using the communication device, a status query from a server computing device via the power line communication connection. The motor controller is additionally configured to transmit electric motor diagnostic data from the memory device to the server computing device via the power line communication connection. The motor controller is further configured to receive motor configuration data from a client computing device wirelessly coupled to the motor controller. The motor configuration data is for controlling the electric motor. The motor controller is also configured to operate the electric motor in accordance with the motor configuration data.

The electric motor communication system includes an electric motor including a wireless communication device configured to transmit and receive wireless signals, and a processing device coupled to the wireless communication device and configured to control the electric motor based at least in part on wireless signals received at the wireless communication device. The electric motor communication system further includes at least one external device configured to communicate wirelessly with the electric motor.
