Abstract:
A catheter assembly comprises a first catheter including a wall with an inner surface at least partially defining a lumen. A second catheter is connected to the wall of the first catheter and is disposed outward of the inner surface of the wall. The second catheter is at least partially covered by a sheath portion of the first catheter.
Abstract:
The present invention provides new compounds of formula I, II or III, which have Src homology-2 containing protein tyrosine phosphatase-1 (SHP-1) agonist activity. Also provided are treatment methods using the compounds of formula I, II or III.
Abstract:
An electronic device includes a touch-screen display, a processor, a memory, and one or more modules stored in the memory. The one or more modules are adapted to be executed by the processor to enter into a user-interface alarm state from a user-interface non-alarm state in responds to an alarm trigger condition. The one or more modules are adapted to display one or more contact areas on the touch-screen display in the user-interface alarm state. The one or more modules are adapted to change locations of the one or more contact areas on the touch-screen display. The one or more modules are adapted to detect one or more contact actions on each of the one or more contact areas on the touch-screen display. The one or more modules are adapted to change the electronic device to the user-interface non-alarm state.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses a method for applying sealant to seal a liquid crystal display panel, and it includes a step of deploying a sealant pattern on a first substrate. Wherein the sealant is deployed along a predetermined path of a first substrate from a starting stroke, and wherein when the final stroke of deployment of the sealant closes to the starting point, diverting the sealant inward to inner side of the first glass substrate such that a final stroke of the sealant is juxtaposed with the starting stroke of the sealant. By the disclosure of the present invention, the boarder generated by the sealant can be effectively narrowed and this is a meet to the industry trend of the liquid crystal display.
Abstract:
A fan includes a housing having a compartment formed inside, and at least one lateral air inlet and at least one lateral air outlet both penetrating through the inner and outer surfaces of the housing and communicating with the compartment. A motor is mounted inside the compartment of the housing and has a stator and an impeller, with the impeller rotatably coupled to the stator and further containing a hub and a plurality of blades mounted to a top of the hub. Each blade has a first end and a second end in the radial direction of the impeller opposite to each other, with the first end of each blade facing outward, and with the second ends of the plural blades defining an airflow-area.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for generating multi-site FM screen dots simultaneously. The method according to the present invention can simultaneously process multiple neighboring pixels in the same row each time and generate multi-site screen dots; and meanwhile the method according to the present invention can renew simultaneously the error accumulation values of multiple locations of error row memory. The apparatus according to the present invention consists of an error row memory, an error row memory control circuit, an error allocation/accumulation register file, an error allocation/accumulation register file control circuit, and a screen dots generating circuit. The method and the apparatus according to the present invention can greatly improve the generating speed of FM screen dots, and only one read-write operation of the error row memory is needed during processing the multiple neighboring pixels each time.
Abstract:
A lens and a lamp using the same are provided. The lamp includes a lampshade, a base, a lens and a light emitting diode (LED). The lampshade and the lens are assembled on the base, wherein the lens is located in the lampshade. The lens has an accommodating portion, a first light exiting surface and a second light exiting surface. The first light exiting surface is located above the accommodating portion, and the second light exiting surface surrounds the first light exiting surface and located outside the accommodating portion. The first and second light exiting surfaces are concaves. The LED is disposed in the accommodating portion of the lens.
Abstract:
A receiving method for multi-cast packets includes the steps of creating a plurality of buffer partitions in a memory; for writing the received multi-cast packets that belong to a same data block into the same buffer partition in sequence; decompressing and combining all the multi-cast packets in the completely received buffer partition into the data block that the multi-cast packets belong to, writing the combined data block into a storage device, and emptying the completely received buffer partition, when the multi-cast packets that belong to the data block in any buffer partition are received completely; and transmitting a retransmission request to a transmitting end for any buffer partition that is not empty and in which the multi-cast packets that belong to the data block are not received completely.
Abstract:
A method of improving image quality and the display apparatus thereof are provided. The method includes generating a plurality of sub-frame images using a frame image depending on whether the frame image is a moving image or a still image and displaying the plurality of sub-frame images sequentially for a frame time interval of the frame image. By generating the plurality of sub-frame image which have different pixel values each other and displaying the plurality of sub-frame image sequentially, the sticking phenomenon may be prevented and a life time of the display apparatus may be extended.
Abstract:
Methods of producing low resistivity tungsten bulk layers having low roughness and associated apparatus are provided. According to various embodiments, the methods involve CVD deposition of tungsten at high pressures and/or high temperatures. In some embodiments, the CVD deposition occurs in the presence of alternating nitrogen gas pulses, such that alternating portions of the film are deposited by CVD in the absence of nitrogen and in the presence of nitrogen.
