Abstract:
Disclosed are a semiconductor package and a manufacturing method thereof. The semiconductor package can include a semiconductor substrate, having one surface on which a conductive pad is formed; an insulating layer, being formed on one surface of the semiconductor substrate; a metal post, penetrating through the conductive pad, the semiconductor substrate, and the insulating layer; and an outer-layer circuit, being electrically connected to the metal post. With the present invention, it can become unnecessary to form an additional via for electrically connecting both surfaces of the semiconductor substrate, thereby simplifying the manufacturing process, reducing the manufacturing cost, and improving the coupling reliability.

Abstract:
Provided is a mouse interface apparatus using a camera, and system and method using the mouse interface apparatus. The mouse interface apparatus detects image coordinates (xi, yi) of a plurality of points existing on edges of a camera-photographing computer window image from the camera-photographing computer window image, obtains a homography using the detected image coordinates (xi, yi) and plane coordinates (Xi, Yi) of the plurality of preset points on a plane of a real computer window, the homography converting the detected image coordinates (xi, yi) into the plane coordinates (Xi, Yi) on the real computer window, converts an arbitrary coordinate on the camera-photographing image into the plane coordinate on the computer window according to a movement of the camera using the obtained homography, and positions a cursor on the plane coordinate to move the position of the cursor according to the movement of the camera.
Abstract:
A function of emitting a color depending on a state of a mobile communication terminal is implemented. To do this, a keypad of the mobile communication terminal is illuminated with a color corresponding to a sensed result when a predetermined operation or event occurs. In order to illuminate the keypad according to a state of the mobile communication terminal using different colors, a keypad illumination unit includes a light source for generating a plurality of colors and a waveguide layer for diffusing light generated by the light source. Accordingly, a user can easily recognize a state of the mobile communication terminal through a color emitted through the keypad, and interest and convenience of the user can be satisfied with the mobile communication terminal emitting various colors.

A method for reconstructing a three-dimensional structure using silhouette information on a two-dimensional plane is provided. The method includes: obtaining silhouette images; creating a cube on a three-dimensional space using the silhouette images; calculating vertex coordinates on a two-dimensional image plane by projecting eight vertices of the three-dimensional cube on a two-dimensional image plane of a first camera; dividing into multiple inner voxels by dividing sides formed by the eight vertices by a divider; dividing into a predetermined number of regions by dividing sides connecting the coordinates by a predetermined divider; assigning indices by matching cubes of the three-dimensional cube to square regions on the two-dimensional image plane in one to one manner; storing indices of regions where the square regions meets with a first silhouette image; and reconstructing three-dimensional structure by finding common indices through repeatedly performing the steps using other silhouette images.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a portable terminal, and to a method and apparatus for improving broadcasting reception performance of the portable terminal by filtering a transmission frequency of a radio frequency unit introduced to a broadcasting reception path without experiencing broadcast signal loss. The filtering can be achieved using a filter that includes a variable capacitor in the broadcasting reception path. Accordingly, the transmission frequency of the radio frequency unit may be filtered without a broadcast signal loss. A capacitance of the variable capacitor may be controlled according to the broadcast channel.
