    摘要: A flow control device for a solder wave apparatus that includes an outlet or nozzle from which molten solder flows in an upward direction to contact the lower surface of a target, such as a circuit board. The flow control device provides a screen and baffle that control the flow pattern of molten solder to the nozzle so as to result in a near-parallel solder wave above the nozzle. The screen includes a pair of spaced-apart parallel panels that are disposed upstream of the nozzle. Each of the panels has apertures through which the molten solder flows before entering the nozzle. The apertures of the panels are offset from each other, such that none of the apertures are coaxial but instead overlap each other when superimposed. The baffle is disposed further upstream of the screen, and includes a number of fins disposed substantially perpendicular to the panels. The fins are arranged such that their lengths become progressively shorter in a direction away from the center of the baffle.

    摘要: The M60 semi-automatic rifle (SAR) is a near clone of the U.S. military M60 machinegun, except the rifle is a modified version of the military gun. The M60 semi-automatic rifle differs functionally because it fires a single round with each pull of the trigger and fires with a closed bolt as opposed to multiple rounds fired with each pull of the trigger and firing from an open bolt of the M60 machinegun. Unique to the M60 SAR is a sear and interupter that travels with the bolt and is readily removable as an assembly, a firing pin that will indent the primer without operating rod assistance, and a design that has the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms approval for sale to Class 1 licensed dealers. The M60 semi-automatic rifle allows the military arms collector to have a functional near clone of the military machinegun without the expense and nuisance of registering a fully automatic machinegun.

    摘要: The invention describes a polymerase chain reaction container and methods of using the same that greatly simplify and improve the polymerase chain reaction. Specifically, the invention describes a PCR container comprising a container suitable for PCR with wax attached to the inside surface of the container. The wax is positioned at or above an estimated meniscus position of a PCR mixture. The wax melts at PCR temperatures and covers the surface of the PCR mixture thereby prevents evaporation during thermal cycling. The invention is superior to current methods, in part, because it reduces preparation time, potential sources of contamination and adverse effects on PCR.
