    Abstract: Systems, methods, and network topology for network address translation (NAT) are disclosed. In some embodiments, a cluster of NAT devices shares at least one backup NAT device configured to back up all or some of the NAT devices in the cluster. Each NAT device, including the backup NAT device, advertises its status at a regular interval to a router. If the router determines that an active NAT device is no longer advertising its status, the router can send data to the backup NAT. In some embodiments, the router routes traffic to active and backup devices based on networking protocols such as Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) and/or Open Shortest Path First (OSPF). The router can also route data to NAT devices using a round-robin algorithm.

    Abstract: Various embodiments of the present technology allow multi-realm support at I/S-CSCF to IMS by the same I/S-CSCF nodes. Some embodiments allow for a registration message to be received from an IMS client. The registration message can be used to establish, through an Internet Protocol Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) core network, a service between a first endpoint associated with a first realm and a second endpoint associated with a second, different realm. The registration message can be translated so that the second endpoint believes the first endpoint is associated with the second realm before being transmitted to the second endpoint. Upon receiving a successful IMS registration message from the IMS core network, a binding can be created between the first endpoint and the second endpoint.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for adjusting cell site parameters are described. The systems and methods cause a map of a geographical area to be displayed, access known or stored location coordinates for antennas at a cell site that is located within the of the geographical area, and present display elements representing the antennas at first positions within the displayed map that correspond to the known location coordinates for the antennas at the cell site. In response to input received from a user, the systems and methods adjust the known location coordinates for the antennas at the cell sites to new location coordinates associated with second positions of the display elements within the displayed map.     Abstract: The disclosed system provides a facility for improving user call quality at a mobile device. The system includes an over-the-top (OTT) client that may be installed on the mobile device for allowing a user to initiate call quality tests. The system performs a call quality test to generate a call quality score or metric from the obtained audio sample via a Call Quality Algorithm. If the call quality score or metric falls below a predetermined threshold, the system may suggest (via the OTT client or via a push notification) that the user of the mobile device switch from the first communication interface (e.g., a radio network such as 4G) to a second communication interface (e.g., Wi-Fi) on the mobile device. The disclosed system tracks the call quality score or metric of multiple mobile devices operating within a telecommunications network, identifies service outages within the network, and notifies impacted mobile devices.

    Abstract: A system for providing an IP-based wireless telecommunications device with access to an IP-based wireless telecommunications service provided by a carrier network includes an access point that sets up a radio link with the IP-based wireless telecommunications device and couples the IP-based wireless telecommunications device to the network. The system also includes a network controller in communication with the carrier network and the access point. The network controller is configured to receive data packets corresponding to the IP-based wireless telecommunications device at the access point. The network controller is also configured to accept/reject the provision of the IP-based wireless telecommunications service to the IP-based wireless telecommunications device based on an IP address or other unique identifier associated with the access point. In other examples, the system further includes a data store that associates IP addresses of access points (or other identifiers) with an indicator of a black or whitelisted status.     Abstract: A mobile device, via a roaming platform, can switch IMSIs (e.g., Home IMSI-1, Roamer IMSI-2, etc.) depending on a location of the mobile device. Upon switching IMSIs, the roaming platform can forward the update location to an HLR of the home network and roaming network. If the MMSC on the home network receives an MMS message, the MMSC on the home network may query the HLR for a current location. From the query, if the message recipient is roaming, the MMSC on the home network may communicate with the MMSC on the roaming network to deliver the message. As a result, the roaming network can handle the routing of the message without a data session routed back through the home network.
