摘要： A display is disclosed having crossover connections effecting polarity inversion. The display includes a panel comprising a subpixel repeating group having an even number of repeating subpixels in a first direction. The display also includes a driver circuit coupled to the panel to provide image data signals effecting polarity inversion to the panel. The display also includes a plurality of crossover connections from the driver circuit to the columns of the panel such that polarities of same color subpixels in the first direction alternate at a spatial frequency sufficient to abate undesirable visual affects on the panel when an image is displayed thereon; each crossover connection applying the same polarity to each subpixel in the column.

摘要： A display device having subpixel repeating groups is presented. Each subpixel repeating group has an even number of four or more subpixels and includes odd-numbered subpixels and even-numbered subpixels alternately arranged in a row direction, each subpixel having a color. A data driver is configured to provide data signals to the subpixels such that the odd-numbered subpixels have a polarity that is opposite that of the even-numbered subpixels in each of the subpixel repeating groups. A first subpixel repeating group and a second subpixel repeating group are adjacent in the row direction. The first subpixel of the first subpixel repeating group and the first subpixel of the second subpixel repeating group have the same color and opposite polarities.

摘要： A display system comprises line buffer memory that stores input image data in a first color space, and a plurality of gamut mapping modules that accept the input image data from the line buffer memory and performs a gamut mapping operation to produce mapped image data specified in a second color space. The system also includes a subpixel rendering module that renders the image data specified in the second color space for display on a display panel substantially comprised of a particular subpixel repeating group. The system architecture utilizes a plurality of gamut mapping modules which in turn allows for a reduction in the size of line buffer memory needed for the subpixel rendering operation.

A receiving substrate, which is substantially planar, including a second electrical circuitry, a first receiving connection pad, and a second receiving connection pad that interconnect with the second electrical circuitry using the metal connectors. The carrier substrate is coupled to the receiving substrate using the connection pads mentioned.

Techniques for signal correction and localizing of errors onto particular subpixels are disclosed.
