    摘要: A system of protecting data in write-back cache between storage systems and the method thereof are employed to protect data in the write-back cache between a first storage system and a second storage system. The system adds, updates, or deletes the data in the second storage system backed up from the write-back cache of the first storage system by monitoring operations on the write-back cache of the first storage system and sending a corresponding command to the second storage system in accord with the monitored operation. Therefore, the method ensures the consistency between the backup data and the data stored in the write-back cache of the first storage system, thereby increasing the security of the data.

    摘要: A method of programming a phase change device includes selecting a desired threshold voltage (Vth) and applying a programming pulse to a phase change material in the phase change device. The applying of the programming pulse includes applying a quantity of energy to the phase change material to drive at least a portion of this material above a melting energy level. A portion of the energy applied to the phase change material is allowed to dissipate below the melting energy level. The shape of the energy dissipation from the phase change material is controlled until the energy applied to the phase change material is less than a quenched energy level, to cause the phase change device to have the desired Vth. A remaining portion of the energy applied to the phase change material is allowed to dissipate to an environmental level.

    摘要: The present invention discloses an external optical storage device having a dustproof cover comprising an internal optical storage device and an external enclosure. The optical storage device has at least one slot on its panel, and the external enclosure comprises a box body, a front cover, and a dustproof cover. The box body is a structure in the shape of a box and has an interior space for containing and installing the internal optical storage device. The front cover is hollow and disposed at the front panel of the box body, and the dustproof cover is disposed on the front cover at the position in front of the slot. If the internal optical storage device is not in use, the dustproof cover seals the slot and if the internal optical storage device is in use, the dustproof cover can be lifted to expose the slot.

    摘要: A self-oscillation DC-DC converter circuit which includes a first transistor electrically connected to an input positive terminal, a second transistor electrically connected to the first transistor and operable to pass a portion of a base current of the first transistor, and a circuit to steady the output voltage electrically connected between the second transistor and an output positive terminal. The output negative terminal is connected directly to the input negative terminal. The self-oscillation DC-DC converter circuit does not use an auxiliary turn, thereby allowing the use of NPN transistors. Positive feedback is achieved by a voltage change Vce1 of the first transistor from a saturation state to a non-saturation state. In the non-saturation state, the second transistor is turned on, the first transistor is turned off and self-oscillation is achieved. With this construction, the self-oscillation DC-DC converter operates normally when the input voltage is lower than 5Vdc.
