    摘要: A charging circuit in a back-up power system is provided. The charging circuit includes an output terminal electrically connected to a main power for providing an AC output voltage, a transformer having a secondary electrically connected to the output terminal, an energy storage and supply device providing a DC voltage, an inverter having an output electrically connected to a primary of the transformer and an input electrically connected to the energy storage and supply device and including four gate control switch devices to form a bridge switching device, a bridge rectifier having an input electrically connected to the output of the inverter in parallel, and a charging switch device electrically connected to an output of the bridge rectifier in parallel so as to charge the electrical energy storage and supply device through one of a conduction state and a cut-off state of said charging switch device.

    摘要: Dimethyl sebacate is recovered from a reaction mixture containing it in predominant amount and minor amounts of other dimethyl esters of C.sub.10 -dicarboxylic acids by stepwise recrystallization using a solvent selected from the group consisting of acetone, diethyl ether, tetrahydrofuran, alkanols having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, aromatic hydrocarbons having 6 to 12 carbon atoms, alkanes and alkenes having 5 to 8 carbon atoms or a mixture of one of those solvents which is miscible with water, and water as recrystallization solvent.

    摘要: A process for producing an unsaturated diester useful as a precursor for sebacic acid which comprises contacting, in a reaction inert medium, methyl penta-2,4-dienoate at a temperature of 30 to 150.degree. C. under an inert atmosphere with a catalytic amount of a homogeneous palladium (II) complex of the formula ##STR1## wherein Q is phosphorous or arsenic; R is alkyl, trichloroalkyl, tribromoalkyl or trifluoroalkyl having from 1 to 6 carbon atoms or aryl having 6 to 12 carbon atoms and R' is alkyl, aminoalkyl or alkoxy having 1 to 6 carbon atoms or aryl or aryloxy having 6 to 12 carbon atoms.The foregoing precursor may subsequently be hydrogenated to dimethyl sebacate and sebacic acid may then be obtained by acid-catalyzed hydrolysis of dimethyl sebacate.

    摘要: A sulfated solid catalyst is provided which comprises (1) oxide or hydroxide of Group III or Group IV element, e.g. zirconium, and (2) a first metal comprising a metal or combination of metals selected from the group consisting of platinum, palladium, nickel, platinum and rhenium, and platinum and tin. The catalyst may further comprise (3) a second metal selected from the group consisting of Group VIII elements, e.g. iron. One embodiment of the invention further comprises (4) a third metal selected from the group consisting of Group V, VI and VII elements, e.g. manganese. The catalyst of the invention is useful for the isomerization of normal alkanes having 4 to 40 carbon atoms per molecule, for the naphtha upgrading of a hydrocarbon feedstock and for the hydrocracking of a hydrocarbon feedstock.

    摘要: An isomerization process is provided which process utilizes a sulfated solid catalyst comprising (1) oxide or hydroxide of Group III or Group IV element, e.g. zirconium, and (2) a first metal comprising a metal or combination of metals selected from the group consisting of platinum, palladium, nickel, platinum and rhenium, and platinum and tin. The sulfated support is calcined prior to incorporation of the first metal and subsequent to said incorporation. The catalyst may further comprise (3) a second metal selected from the group consisting of Group VIII elements, e.g. iron. One embodiment of the invention further comprises (4) a third metal selected from the group consisting of Group V, VI and VII elements, e.g. manganese. Said second and third metals are added prior to the first calcination.
