Abstract: The present application relates to a separator, comprising a substrate and a coating formed on at least one surface of the substrate; wherein the coating comprises inorganic particles and organic particles, the organic particles comprise first organic particles and second organic particles both embedded in the inorganic particles and forming protrusions on the surface of the coating, the first organic particles have a number-average particle size of ≥8 μm; the second organic particles have a number-average particle size of ≥2 μm, and at least part of the second organic particles comprise a core structure and a shell structure. Abstract: The present disclosure provides a battery pack, including: a battery box (1), a plurality of battery modules (2), a cooling plate (3), and a buffering member (4). Each battery module (2) includes a plurality of battery cells (21) and a plurality of busbars (22). Each battery cell (21) includes an electrode assembly (211) and a battery housing (212). The battery cells (21) are laid flat. When the electrode assembly (211) is of a wound structure and is flat, and outer surfaces of the electrode assembly (211) include two flat surfaces (2110). The two flat surfaces (2110) are opposite to each other in a vertical direction. Alternatively, when the electrode assembly (211) is of a laminated structure, a first electrode plate (2111), a separator (2113), and a second electrode plate (2112) are stacked in a vertical direction. Therefore, the electrode assembly (211) of the battery cells (21) applies a greatest expansion force in the vertical direction during charge and discharge. The cooling plate (3) is disposed at a side of the battery module (2) in the vertical direction, and the buffering member (4) is disposed between the cooling plate (3) and the battery box (1). Therefore, the greatest expansion force applied by the battery cells (21) on the buffering member (4) enables the buffering member (4) to fit closely with both the cooling plate (3) and the battery box (1) concurrently, thereby increasing a heat dissipation area to improve heat dissipation effects of the cooling plate (3).

Abstract: This application relates to a positive electrode plate and an electrochemical device. The positive electrode plate includes a current collector, a positive electrode active material layer and a safety coating disposed between the current collector and the positive electrode active material layer; wherein the safety coating includes a polymer matrix, a conductive material and an inorganic filler; and wherein the polymer matrix is fluorinated polyolefin and/or chlorinated polyolefin having a crosslinked structure. When the electrochemical device (such as a capacitor, a primary battery, or a secondary battery) is in a high temperature condition or an internal short circuit occurs, the positive electrode plate can quickly disconnect the circuit, thereby improving the high temperature safety of the electrochemical device.

Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a cell and a battery using the same. In comparison with the technology in background, by that the uncoated current collector is punched to form the electrolyte transmission channel, electrolyte infiltration speed is improved, at the same time the rate performance and the cycle performance of the battery are promoted.

Abstract: The present application relates to a negative electrode material for a secondary battery. The negative electrode material includes an expanded graphite and an organic phase change material intercalated into the expanded graphite. The present application further relates to a method for preparing the negative electrode material and a secondary battery using the negative electrode material. Since the organic phase change material is intercalated into the expanded graphite, when an internal temperature of the secondary battery increases, the organic phase change material absorbs heat by phase change, which can improve the heat storage and energy storage capacity and the safety performance of the secondary battery. In addition, since the organic phase change material has certain viscosity and flexibility, the adhesion performance of the negative electrode material on the current collector can also be improved.
