    摘要: The invention relates to a lancet having a lancet body with a lancet tip for creating a puncture wound and a capillary channel to convey body fluids out of the puncture wound in a direction of conveyance. The capillary channel is formed by a slot which runs through the entire lancet body perpendicular to the direction of conveyance, and a test area for optically inspecting a body fluid sample which is conveyed by the capillary channel. The test area is constructed as a section of the slot and has a transparent component with a moistening surface for moistening with a body fluid sample for inspection. The invention further relates to a pricking system comprising such a lancet and a pricking device for creating a puncture wound.

    摘要: An analysis system for determining an analyte of a body fluid comprises a test element and an analysis instrument having a measurement and evaluation unit. The test element has a sample application zone and two analysis zones and a reagent system, whose reaction with the analyte results in a detectable change characteristic for the desired analytical result. The measurement and evaluation unit comprises two analog measuring units, in each of which an analog measurement signal corresponding to one of the analysis zones is generated, two analog-digital converters for digitizing the analog measurement signal, a comparator unit for comparing control data values based on the digitized measurement signals, and a final processing unit, in which, if the determined deviation between the control data values of the digitized measurement signals is less than a predefined value, at least one of the control data values is allowed to pass for further processing into the desired analytical result.

    摘要: The invention concerns a method for investigating a scattering medium, especially a biological matrix, with intensity-modulated light. In order, in such a frequency-domain measuring procedure, to reduce the expenditure on electronics without restricting accuracy of measurement, a method is proposed, in which, in order to investigate a scattering medium, especially a biological matrix, with intensity-modulated light, a high-frequency modulation signal is generated by a frequency generator (18), the intensity of a light emitter (10) is modulated with a modulation signal and the light from the light emitter (10) is radiated into the medium, the modulation signal includes frequency chirps during which the modulation frequency is tuned from an initial frequency to a final frequency, the modulation signal is delivered from the frequency generator (18) via at least two different signal paths (23A, 24) to a signal mixer (31), so that during a frequency chirp the input signals of the signal mixer (31) differ by a differential frequency whose magnitude is a function of the difference between the signal transit times over the at least two signal paths (23A, 24) and of the rate of change of the modulation frequency, wherein at least one of the signal paths includes a light path section (20A) passing through the medium as a measurement signal path (23A), and the output signal of the signal mixer (31) is further processed to produce information relating to the scattering medium (FIG. 2).
