摘要: Devices and methods are provided for delivering fluid into a patient's body. In an exemplary embodiment, the device may include a syringe cartridge and a syringe driver that may be coupled to the cartridge. The cartridge may include a housing including a proximal end, a distal end, and defining an interior, the cartridge further including a piston slidably disposed within the interior for delivering fluid within the interior through a port in the distal end. The driver may include a plunger for advancing the piston within the interior of the housing, a source of pressurized fluid, a valve, and an actuator member coupled to the valve for selectively opening a flow path from the source to the plunger to control flow of the pressurized fluid to advance the plunger to deliver fluid from the interior of the housing at a desired rate.

摘要: A system allows for collection and re-use of a fluid medium derived from diverting at least some of the fluid medium of an injection. The system comprises a sterile container, an injector, a delivery catheter, a flow diverter assembly and a diversion reservoir assembly. The delivery catheter is in communication with a selected site within a patient's body. The flow diverter assembly is disposed in a flow path between the injector and the delivery catheter and is configured to divert at least a portion of a medium of the injection from the flow path. The diversion reservoir assembly has a reservoir chamber fluidly coupled to the flow diverter assembly The reservoir chamber is configured to receive the diverted portion of the fluid medium to allow re-use by the medium injector of the diverted portion.

摘要: An adipose tissue (AT) transfer system includes, on the aspiration side, an aspiration cannula, an aspiration pump, a container, and flexible tubing connecting the aspiration cannula to the container. On the reinjection side, the system includes a reinjection cannula, flexible tubing connecting the inlet of the reinjection cannula to the container, and a reinjection pump imposing positive-displacement pumping action on the flexible tubing and causing movement of AT in a pulsed mode. The aspiration pump operates to continually supply harvested AT to the second flexible tubing while the reinjection pumps causes continuous or pulsed deposition of the AT at injection site. To ensure that internal pressure and/or flow of the AT through a channel of delivery of the AT to the reinjection site does not exceed a predetermined value, the system contains an external pressure sensor configured to measure such internal pressure in absence of a part that is in direct contact with the AT.

摘要: A syringe for administering medicament from a cartridge. The syringe includes a sleeve having an interior for receiving the cartridge extending between a distal hub and a proximal opening. The syringe has a cap selectively covering the proximal opening for retaining the cartridge in the interior of the sleeve. The cap includes a finger grip extending outward from the sleeve for engaging fingers of a user. The syringe also has a plunger rod movably connected to the cap. The plunger rod has a distal connector for selectively connecting the rod to the cartridge plunger when the cartridge is received in the interior of the sleeve to push medicament from the cartridge reservoir as the plunger rod moves with respect to the cap.

摘要: A method and a system are described for administrating an infusion liquid pulse. The system includes a tubing system having an inlet connected to an external reservoir adapted to contain infusion fluids and an outlet connected to a catheter. The tubing system includes a check valve proximate to the inlet and an anti-siphon valve proximate to the outlet. The system further includes an automatic pulse flow generation device. The automatic pulse flow generation device includes an internal reservoir and a bidirectional pump configured to pump infusion fluid from the external reservoir to the internal reservoir and further pump an infusion fluid pulse from the internal reservoir to be infused by a catheter, the infusion liquid pulse has a volume of at least 2 ml and a velocity of at least 5 ml/min.

摘要: An injection system includes a syringe, which preferably includes larger and smaller inner diameters, and a plunger. A wiper sidewall of the plunger defines a cavity, into which a plunger shaft of the system is inserted, for moving the plunger, within the syringe, for fluid injection. The plunger includes a feature for engaging the shaft, and the sidewall preferably includes a expandable-contractible portion, in which the feature is formed. When the plunger is initially mounted within the larger inner diameter of the syringe, the portion of the sidewall is expanded and the feature of the plunger does not operably engage the inserted shaft. When the shaft moves the plunger into the smaller inner diameter of the syringe, the portion of the sidewall contracts and the feature operably engages the shaft. An optional deformable end wall of the plunger may be spaced apart from a distal terminal end of the inserted shaft.

摘要: An auto-injector comprising an elongate housing arranged to contain a syringe and displacing medicament, wherein the syringe is slidably arranged with respect to the housing, spring capable of: pushing a needle from a covered position inside the housing into an advanced position, operating the syringe to supply a dose of medicament, and retracting the syringe with the needle into the covered position. Activating means is arranged to lock the spring in a pressurized state prior to manual operation and capable of, upon manual operation, releasing the spring for injection. The spring is a single drive spring arranged for advancing the needle and for injecting the dose of medicament via a plunger. A damper is arranged with the plunger by a spline so as to cause rotation of either the plunger or the damper at least during part of a translation of the plunger in proximal direction.
