Disclosed is a network service system including a terminal selectively providing packets of an information centric networking (ICN) protocol and an Internet protocol, a smart digital unit (DU) identifying whether the packets provided from the terminal correspond to an ICN protocol packet or an Internet protocol packet to transfer the packets through different paths depending on a type of the identified packet, and an ICN node receiving the ICN protocol packet from the smart DU to provide contents.

Disclosed are an apparatus, a method, and a system for compressing and transmitting video. The video processing apparatus comprises an overlap area extraction part being provided with at least one input video which is acquired by at least one video acquisition device and real space video data stored in a data base, and extracting overlap areas by matching the input video with the real space video data; and a video compression part compressing, based on the overlap areas, the at least one input video by using at least one reference frame based on information included in the real space video data.

Disclosed herein is an intra prediction method including: deriving neighbor prediction mode information from a left neighbor prediction mode and an upper neighbor prediction mode; deriving an intra prediction mode for a decoding target unit by using the derived neighbor prediction mode information; and performing intra prediction on the decoding target unit based on the intra prediction mode. According to exemplary embodiments of the present invention, image encoding/decoding efficiency can be improved.

The image-encoding method by skip encoding, which performs intra-prediction, comprises: performing a filtering operation on the signal which is reconstructed prior to an encoding object signal in an encoding object image; using the filtered reconstructed signal to generate a prediction signal for the encoding object signal; setting the generated prediction signal as a reconstruction signal for the encoding object signal; and not encoding the residual signal which can be generated on the basis of the difference between the encoding object signal and the prediction signal, thereby performing skip encoding on the encoding object signal.

A method for coding image information includes generating prediction information by predicting information on a current coding unit, and determining whether the information on the current coding unit is the same as the prediction information. When the information on the current coding unit is the same as the prediction information, a flag indicating that the information on the current coding unit is the same as the prediction information is coded and transmitted.
