    Abstract: A phosphor-containing film capable of suppressing the deterioration of the phosphor and suitable for production using a roll-to-roll method; and a backlight unit provided with the phosphor-containing film. The phosphor-containing film includes, between two facing substrate films, a first resin layer having a first concavo-convex shape on one main surface; a second resin layer having a second concavo-convex shape on the other main surface facing the one main surface of the first resin layer that has the first concavo-convex shape; and a third layer that follows the first concavo-convex shape and the second concavo-convex shape between the first resin layer and the second resin layer, in which the two substrate films are each a barrier film including a support film and a barrier layer laminated on the support film, the first resin layer and the second resin layer contain phosphors, and the third layer is formed of an inorganic material.
