摘要: The present invention provides anti-aPC antibodies that suppress the inactivation of activated protein C (aPC), and uses thereof. The present inventors screened anti-aPC antibodies, and succeeded in isolating anti-aPC antibodies comprising the activity of suppressing aPC inactivation in blood. The antibodies of the present invention can be used to maintain aPC activity by suppressing aPC inactivation, and can thus be used to sustain aPC bioactivities, such as the activity of suppressing activation of the blood coagulation system, and anti-inflammatory activity. In addition, the present invention provides uses of the antibodies of the present invention in aPC therapy for diseases such as thrombosis and sepsis. The therapeutic effect of aPC can be prolonged in treatment that uses aPC administration by allowing an antibody of the present invention to bind with aPC. The antibodies of the present invention can be used in the treatment and prevention of diseases such as thrombosis and sepsis.

摘要: In a printing apparatus which prints using a printhead, a printing controller for feedback-controlling driving of a motor includes a control information generation unit which generates control information for a driving torque of the motor on the basis of a first driving pattern, a comparison unit which compares the control information and a threshold for determining an overload on driving of the motor, and a setting unit which sets a second driving pattern for changing a load on driving of the motor by the control information, instead of the first driving pattern, on the basis of the comparison result of the comparison unit. Control of the motor is switched in accordance with the load state.

摘要: Disclosed is a recording apparatus that helps to achieve a reduction in size and cost. The recording apparatus has a U-turn sheet feeding mechanism for reversing and feeding a recording medium and a duplex transport mechanism for reversing the recording medium and performing printing on both sides thereof, in which the same transport path serves as a transport path for transporting the recording medium from a U-turn sheet feeding roller to a main transport roller for transporting the recording medium to a printing portion and as a transport path for reversal in duplex transport. Further, a transport roller provided in the transport path from the U-turn sheet feeding roller to the main transport roller for transporting the recording medium to the printing portion is the same as a transport roller for duplex transport. A single transport roller serves both as the U-turn transport roller and as the duplex transport roller.

摘要: According to a first aspect of the present invention, an objective function is defined for minimizing a number of candidate tree graphs for accommodating the communication paths and a first constraint equation is defined for causing all of the candidate tree graphs to form a tree. A second constraint equation is defined for accommodating the communication paths in one of the candidate tree graphs. A third constraint equation is defined for determining whether each of the candidate tree graphs is used to accommodate the communication paths. A mathematical programming problem formed by the objective function, and the first, second and third constraint equations is solved to obtain a plurality of trees in which the communication paths can be accommodated.
