    Abstract: A video delay stabilization system configured for multiple types of video input signals, includes a plurality of video processing modules, and a variable delay module. The plurality of video processing modules include at least one module that is selectively actuable depending upon the type of input signal, each module adding an incremental time delay to a video output signal. The variable delay module is configured to insert into the video output signal a programmed time delay equal to a difference between a maximum possible time delay added by the plurality of video processing modules, and an actual total time delay added by the modules.
