    摘要: This invention provides a method to identify compounds potentially useful for the treatment and prevention of neoplasia in mammals. The phosphodiesterase inhibitory activity of a compound is determined along with its ability to elevate JNK kinase activity. Growth inhibitory and apoptosis inducing effects on cultured tumor cells are also determined. Compounds that exhibit phosphodiesterase inhibition, an ability to elevate JNK kinase activity, growth inhibition and apoptosis induction are desirable for the treatment of neoplasia.

    摘要: A power module includes a first bobbin, a primary winding coil, a circuit board assembly and a first magnetic core assembly. The primary winding coil is wound around the first bobbin. The circuit board assembly includes a printed circuit board, a second winding structure, at least one current-sensing element, a rectifier circuit and an electrical connector. The second winding structure has an output terminal. The current-sensing element includes a first conductor. The first conductor is a conductive sheet. A first end of the first conductor is in contact with the output terminal of the second winding structure. A second end of the first conductor is connected to the rectifier circuit. The primary winding coil is aligned with the second winding structure of the circuit board assembly and arranged within the first magnetic core assembly. The primary winding coil and the electrical connector are electrically connected with a system board.

    摘要: A transcoding apparatus converts first coded data obtained from a plurality of frames forming a video image by means of a coding algorithms including an interframe prediction coding algorithm with motion compensation into second coded data having a different structure. More specifically, the transcoding apparatus takes a portion of frames which have had the interframe prediction coding and are included in the plurality of frames forming the video image as processing object frames, and from at least the first coded data corresponding to the processing object frames, generates the second coded data corresponding to coded data which are to be obtained when performing the interframe prediction coding on the processing object frames with reference to second reference frames which are different from first reference frames referenced in the interframe prediction coding of the processing object frames. In order to the second coded data, the transcoding apparatus has a motion information calculating portion for calculating motion information to be included in the second coded data using at least motion information contained in said processing object data.

    摘要: The present invention provides a method of human gene therapy using AAV vectors with essentially wildtype phenotype. Genes of 900 bases or less can be inserted into wildtype AAV and still allow the resulting vector to have a largely wildtype phenotype. For example, several antisense genes could be inserted and still allow packaging. Such wildtype vectors have several advantages. First, high titers of such vectors is easy to accomplish. Second, the vectors, since they include the Rep78 gene, integrate specifically into human chromosome 19. Third, such vectors, being wildtype, spread after their initial introduction. Another method for use of large wildtype AAV genomes is as complementors for fully defective AAV vectors. Such complementors can be delivered by virus infection and, be introduced easily into 100% of the cells used to produce virus. Viral infection is superior to synthetic techniques for introducing DNA into tissue culture producer cells. When large essentially wildtype AAV complementor virus are used in conjunction with AAV vector virus allowing for the introduction of both vectors into all cells, high titers of recombinant AAV virus is achieved.
