    摘要: Some example embodiments may be directed towards a method in a network node, which may be comprised in a Radio Network, for transmitting a combined wireless communication signal. The combined wireless communication signal may comprise a primary and a secondary signal component. The method may comprise transmitting to an user equipment the secondary signal component according to a secondary transmission scheme such that the secondary signal component at least partially overlaps with the primary signal component with respect to a signal domain. The method may also comprise simultaneously, suppressing at least one portion of the secondary signal component during a transmission of the primary signal component.Some example embodiments may be directed towards a method in an user equipment, which may be comprised in a Radio Network, for estimating the combined communication channel. The method may comprise receiving the combined wireless communication signal. The primary and secondary signal components may be received according to a primary and secondary transmission scheme, associated with a primary and secondary domain, respectively. The method may further comprise estimating the primary channel component when the secondary signal component is suppressed.

    摘要: A method aims at controlling parameters used by communication terminals of a telecommunication system which enables discontinuous reception. The discontinuous reception involves DRX cycles during each one of which a communication terminal wakes up at least once to monitor a downlink control channel. The telecommunication system enables the use of DRX cycles of different lengths. The method includes a determining procedure (s10) comprising determining, on a per communication terminal basis, whether the communication terminal is eligible to rely on a terminal-controlled mobility procedure, wherein determining is based on at least one characteristic of the communication terminal. The method also includes a setting procedure (s20) comprising, at least for one of the possible outcomes of the determining procedure (s10), setting one or more parameters on the communication terminal accordingly.

    摘要: In a communication system using aggregation of component carriers, a transmitter comprises a transmitting entity configured to transmit data messages on multiple component carriers. The transmission of the data messages is accomplished on the basis of a retransmission protocol. The retransmission protocol requires sending of an acknowledgement message in response to verifying correct receipt of a data message. A receiver comprises a receiving entity configured to receive the data messages on the basis of the retransmission protocol. In response to a decision to deactivate transmission on one of the aggregated component carriers, the retransmission protocol is triggered to retransmit those data messages for which no acknowledgement message of the retransmission protocol has been received. The retransmission is accomplished on at least one other of the component carriers. A further retransmission protocol may be used on each of the component carriers, with respective transmitting entities in the transmitter and respective receiving entities in the receiver.
