    摘要: A picture coding apparatus contains a rate control unit 100, an image buffer 200, an orthogonal transformation unit 300, a quantizing unit 400, a variable length coding unit 500, a motion predicting unit 600, a coding unit 700, and an output buffer 800. The rate control unit 100 allocates a target code amount to each of pictures, and transfers a quantizing value 100a which is determined by a code amount to the quantizing unit 400. This target code amount is calculated by adding a reference target code amount to a correction value. The correction value is calculated based on a difference between a predetermined target value and an actual value of a remaining coding picture amount of the output buffer 800.

    摘要: The double action push switch has a longer life and more design freedom for attaining desired load characteristics for first and second switching actions so that it occupies less area on a printed circuit board. Two plate members are housed side-by-side in a cavity of the push switch. An operating portion of a key top is positioned so that P3≠P4, where P3 and P4 are the respective operating loads applied to the operating portion when one or the other of two pressing points act as the fulcrum and moments on the key top are balanced. The operating portion is positioned offset from a center vertical axis of the key top if both plate members have the same load characteristics. Thus, a first pressing force inverts one plate member for a first electrical connection, and the next pressing force inverts the other plate member for a second electrical connection.

    摘要: A key stem of a keyboard switch includes an outer slide and an inner slide. When a key top is struck, the outer slide slides inside of an outer guide, and the inner slide slides inside an inner guide. A first moment point is developed between the outer slide and the outer guide, while a second moment point is developed between the inner slide and the inner guide. A taper at the bottom of the outer slide prevents the second moment point being developed in that location. The reduced horizontal distance between the two moment points helps prevent binding of the key when an actuating force is applied off the axis of the key top. A relationship is disclosed for avoiding sticking or binding in which the horizontal distance between the two moment points, times a coefficient of friction, is less than the vertical distance between the planes of the two moment points.

    摘要: The present invention provides a stereoscopic image display device that improves visibility of a stereoscopic pointer image when the pointer position moves between objects in the stereoscopic image that have greatly different display depths. The display device changes the display depth of the stereoscopic pointer image in accordance with the display depth of an object in the stereoscopic image. When the pointer position moves between objects that have greatly different display depths from time t0 to time t1, the stereoscopic pointer image at time t1 is rendered so as to be perceived as having a display depth intermediate between the display depth of the stereoscopic pointer image at time t0 and the display depth of the display screen at the pointer position at t1. As a result, visibility of the stereoscopic pointer image is improved.
