    摘要: A copying apparatus has an original size sensing switch for sensing the size of an original, a memory for storing cassette size information, a comparator for comparing the original size information output by the original size sensing switch with the cassette size information read out from the memory, and a microcomputer for controlling the copying operation of the apparatus in accordance with a comparison output from the comparator. The copying operation may be performed in accordance with the size of the original fed to the exposure position. The automatic copying operation in accordance with the sensed original size may be released as needed for manual control.

    摘要: A semiconductor device capable of avoiding generation of a barrier in a conduction band while maintaining high withstanding voltage and enabling high speed transistor operation at high current in a double hetero bipolar transistor, as well as a manufacturing method thereof, wherein a portion of the base and the collector is formed of a material with a forbidden band width narrower than that of a semiconductor substrate, a region where the forbidden band increases stepwise and continuously from the emitter side to the collector side is disposed in the inside of the base and the forbidden band width at the base-collector interface is designed so as to be larger than the minimum forbidden band width in the base, whereby the forbidden band width at the base layer edge on the collector side can be made closer to the forbidden band width of the semiconductor substrate than usual while sufficiently maintaining the hetero effect near the emitter-base thereby capable of decreasing the height of the energy barrier generated upon increase of the collector current and enabling satisfactory transistor operation at high current.

The output stage circuits are sequentially switched to be connected with the input/driving stage circuit, and an output voltage from the input/driving stage circuit is fed to the plurality of output stage circuits in order. Each of the output stage circuits outputs the grayscale voltage based on a voltage held in the capacitor irrespective of connection with the input/driving stage circuit.

    摘要: An apparatus for collecting samples by gel electrophoresis has a base table, a cutting tool or an extractor disposed above the base table, a moving mechanism, a pattern detector and a control device. The base table is for placing thereon a gel in the form of a slab with one of its sandwiching support plates removed therefrom in such a way that the gel is exposed in the upward direction. The cutter is for cutting out a specified portion of the gel, and the extractor is for extracting a specified migration band in such a specified portion of the gel by electrophoresis. The moving mechanism is for moving the cutter, or the extractor, three-dimensionally. The pattern detector is for optically detecting migration patterns in the gel on the base table so as to enable the user to determine which part of the gel or which migration band thereon is of interest. The control device controls the motion of the moving mechanism so as to have a portion of the gel at a specified migration band to be automatically or manually cut out or to have its migration band extracted by electrophoresis.

    摘要: Scratches on the recording disk caused by sliding of a disk cartridge shutter is prevented by slidably inserting first and second shutters between a tray and a case on the opposite side to a recording disk accommodating portion of the tray. The first shutter simultaneously opens and closes a case side driving shaft insert hole, a case side head insert hole, a tray side driving shaft insert hole, and a tray side head insert hole. The second shutter opens and closes a terminal hole. The second shutter is opened independently of the first shutter and is held in a position so that the case side driving shaft insert hole, the case side head insert hole, the tray side driving shaft insert hole, and the tray side head insert hole are not closed. Closing the first shutter, however, causes the second shutter to also close.
