摘要: A noun and a verb is mapped as the information about an article to which an article identifier such as a radio tag, etc. is attached and a user activity, thereby estimating a user activity from the article to which the article identifier is attached and providing a user with appropriate information. An article identifier for identification of an article is associated with article information and stored (step S202), and the relationship between a noun relating to the article information and a verb relating to the article are associated with a conditional probability and held in the probability information holding unit (step S207). Upon detection of the article identifier, the probability of the verb to the noun is calculated based on the contents held in the probability information holding unit, thereby estimating a user activity (step S212). Thus, based on the detection result of the article identifier attached to the article, the activity of the user on the article can be estimated. As a result, an appropriate service can be provided for the activity of the user.

摘要: An ion-exchange membrane method electrolytic cell comprising a coil cushion arranged between a conductive plate and a cathode in a cathode chamber, and further an ion-exchange membrane arranged in contact with the cathode. The conductive plate is not perforated, and the coil cushion is arranged so that its axial direction is in agreement with the vertical direction of electrolytic cell. Preferably the coil cushion is made of a metal coil and has an impact resilience of 7-17 kPa. The cathode preferably has supported electrode catalyst and is made of an expanded metal with strands of 0.1-1.0 mm width and 0.1-1.0 mm thickness, and having SW of 0.5-5.0 mm and LW of 1.0-10 mm, and 48-60% open area. The electrolytic cell is energy-saving, and damage thereof can be avoided over a long period, and elevation of voltage and reduction of current efficiency with time can be minimized.

摘要: A conventional contents-watching device, etc. calculate users' tastes of contents only on the basis of watching frequencies, so that variety programs that the users are less interested in but that are broadcasted every week are apt to get a higher degree of users' tastes than a soccer game of the Japanese national team that the users are highly interested in but that is broadcasted only several times per year. In order to solve the problem set forth above, the present invention proposes a contents-watching device that calculates a taste value by normalizing a watching index indicative of the number of contents-watching times or the like for every contents-attribute with an emergent index indicative of the number of contents-watching chances, acquires an contents-attribute connected with contents to be a subject for watching recommendation, and has a function to calculate watching recommendation information by using the taste value of the contents-attribute.
