An adjusting brushhead includes a base assembly which is removably connectable to an electric skin care appliance. The brushhead also includes an inner brush assembly which oscillates in operation by a drive member with motor action. The brushhead further includes an outer brush assembly which is mounted to the base assembly by mounting elements, permitting the outer brush assembly to move in accordance with facial contours.
Abstract:
The disclosed embodiments provide skin stimulating devices and methods that address the aging effects of skin at a protein level. Particularly, cyclical mechanical strain is used to regulate specific proteins within the skin, so as to produce specific effects. As a non-limiting example, the disclosed embodiments can be used to increase the production of certain proteins (e.g., hyaluronan synthase 3 (HAS3); fibronectin; tropoelastin; procoll1; integrin, etc.) in the skin, which results in anti-aging effects by increasing epidermal cohesion.
Abstract:
A skin care apparatus suitable for use in proximity to a subject's eyes. The apparatus includes a treatment device and a stimulus device. Upon activation by a user, such as the subject or a technician, a stimulus delivered by the stimulus device causes the subject's eyelid to close prior to the administration of a skin care treatment by the treatment device.

In some embodiments, the present disclosure provides a travel product system. The travel product system determines user product preferences for personal care products that the user may wish to use at a travel destination. In an embodiment, the system comprises a system for processing personal care products for use during travel. The travel product system may obtain these preferences directly from the user, or may automatically obtain the preferences from other sources. The travel product system may cause appropriate amounts of the products to be packaged and delivered to the user's travel destination, thus reducing waste and making the products available at the destination without having to carry them while in transit.

A curing applicator for curing a curable formulation as it is applied to a surface includes an applicator assembly extending from a base assembly. The applicator assembly is configured to apply the curable formulation to the surface. The curing applicator further includes a curing assembly configured to deliver a curing stimulus. The curing assembly extends from the base assembly and is positioned to follow the applicator as it applies the curable formulation to the surface.
