摘要： Exemplary methods and systems can be provided for resurfacing of skin that include formation of a plurality of small holes, e.g., having widths greater than about 0.2 mm and less than about 0.7 mm or 0.5 mm, using a mechanical apparatus. Compressive and/or tensile forces can then be applied to the treated region of skin as the damage heals to facilitate hole closure, and provide enhanced and/or directional shrinkage of the treated skin area.

A cryospray device configured to deliver a cryogen to a patient's skin can include an applicator, a supply channel, and a nozzle assembly. The applicator can include a head portion, and the supply channel can extend through at least a portion of the head portion. The nozzle assembly can be coupled to the head portion and can be fluidly coupled to the supply channel. The nozzle assembly can include a linear array of orifices that are configured to direct a planar spray of the cryogen to cool an area of a skin tissue of the patient in a linear cooling treatment.

摘要： A skin buffer apparatus consists of an abrasive pad, a handle, a neck portion, and a vibrating mechanism. The vibrating mechanism provides the vibrations used for skin buffing. The vibrations are transferred onto the skin of the user via the abrasive pad. Preferably, the abrasive pad is a sandpaper pad which is used to remove an outer layer of dead skin. The handle and the neck portion allow the user to position the abrasive pad at a preferred location. The apparatus can be used on the face or any other body part where dead skin needs to be removed. The vibrating mechanism is powered through a power source. Preferably, the vibration frequency is adjustable so that different buffing processes can be completed.

摘要： Embodiments include devices and methods configured to fractionally resect skin and/or fat. Fractional resection is applied as a stand-alone procedure in anatomical areas that are off-limits to conventional plastic surgery due to the poor tradeoff between the visibility of the incisional scar and amount of enhancement obtained. Fractional resection is also applied as an adjunct to established plastic surgery procedures such as liposuction, and is employed to significantly reduce the length of incisions required for a particular application. The shortening of incisions has application in both the aesthetic and reconstructive realms of plastic surgery.
