Abstract: A refrigerating and air-conditioning system includes a refrigerating machine connected to a showcase by a first refrigerant flow passage, an air-conditioning apparatus for connection of an indoor equipment and an outdoor equipment by means of a second refrigerant flow passage, which forms a different refrigerant circuit from a refrigerant circuit formed by the first refrigerant flow passage, and a centralized control unit for controlling the refrigerating machine and the air-conditioning apparatus, the centralized control unit configured to reduce a cooling operation set temperature in the air-conditioning apparatus relative to a fixed value according to a load on the showcase. When a load on the showcase increases, an indoor temperature is reduced by the air-conditioning apparatus so that a load on the showcase is reduced, reduction in operating efficiency of the refrigerating machine is suppressed, and an improvement in energy saving quality is achieved.

Abstract: A lead-acid battery electrode plate is manufactured by consecutively supplying a lead or lead alloy sheet; leaving a part in the vicinity of the center of the sheet as a non-expansion portion and expanding both sides like mesh to form a grid body; filling active material paste into the grid body; and cutting the grid body to predetermined dimensions. In the lead-acid battery electrode plate, the non-expansion portion forms a current collector part of the electrode plate along an expansion portion in an up and down direction of the electrode plate. One or more openings are made in a part of the non-expansion portion. A part of the non-expansion portion is projected above the position of an upper margin of the cut expansion portion as a current collector lug part. When the current collector lug part is placed upside, the expansion direction is the width direction of the electrode plate.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an apparatus for preventing a double chain stitching from raveling. Looper thread engaging structure engages with the looper thread consecutive to the looper from the cloth by moving when the looper is at the forward position and forms a looper thread loop consecutive from the cloth at the engaged portion by driving a sewing machine in the engaged state. A looper thread cutter cuts the looper thread loop at the engaged portion and a thread cutter cuts the loop-shaped needle thread consecutive to the needle via the looper from the cloth and the looper thread consecutive to the looper from the cloth between the cloth and the looper. Therefore, it is able to prevent a double chain stitching from raveling from the stitching end side. Further, defining structure is provided to define the moving distance of the looper thread engaging structure. The length of the looper thread loop is changed by definition of the moving distance of the looper thread engaging structure by the defining structure. Therefore, the thread of the thread end left over in the cloth by the looper thread cutter can be varied. By varying the length of the thread end consecutive to the sewn end side, a good-looking sewn product is obtained.

Abstract: In a vehicle air conditioner, even in a case where an air outlet mode is set in which an air outlet switching damper opens a defroster opening so as to blow air from the defroster opening toward an inner surface of a window glass of a vehicle, the air outlet switching damper is controlled to close the defroster opening when a target air temperature TAO is lower than an outside air temperature TAM. Thus, the vehicle air conditioner prevents a fogging of an outer surface of the window glass without decreasing a temperature comfort in a vehicle compartment.
