    摘要: An active matrix display panel comprises a substrate, array of pixel circuits being arranged in a matrix of at least one column and a plurality of rows on the substrate, each pixel circuit comprising a light-emitting element, capable of emitting light of an intensity determined by the value of a current passed through it, and at least one column line, each column line arranged to conduct a reference current, provided by a current driving circuit, when connected to the panel. The pixel circuits in a column are divided into a plurality of groups of at least one pixel circuit. The active matrix display panel comprises at least one current mirror circuit associated with a first group, comprising a first current mirror, arranged to mirror a reference current flowing through a column line to a first current mirror output. Each pixel circuit in the first group comprises at least a first current-memory stage, having an output terminal connected to the light-emitting element, wherein the first current-memory stage is capable of drawing a current determined at least partly by the current mirrored to the first current mirror output through the output terminal. Each current mirror circuit comprises at least one additional current mirror, arranged to mirror a reference current flowing through an associated column line to an additional current mirror output, wherein each additional current mirror output is connected in parallel to the first current mirror output.

    摘要: A display device has an array of display elements (2) each driven by an input provided on a data conductor (6). These inputs are generated by data conductor addressing circuitry (9) which has a plurality of controllable driver circuits (32,34,40), each for providing an input to an associated data conductor. The number of controllable driver circuits is at least one greater than the number required for providing data to all data conductors. A reference driver circuit (30) is used for calibrating at least one of the controllable driver circuits whilst the other controllable driver circuits provide inputs to the data conductors. This provides a reduction in the spread of driver circuit outputs by calibration of the driver circuits using a reference driver circuit.

    摘要: A receiver having, arranged in this order, an input section, an FM demodulator, to which a frequency-modulated input signal is applied, and an LF section, which FM demodulator includes a pulse shaper and a low-pass filter, the pulse shaper comprising a series arrangement of at least a load and a capacitance, the base-emitter junction of a transistor being arranged across the capacitance, and further including a switching device for charging and discharging the capacitance. The pulse shaper generates a low-noise pulse in that charging of a capacitance is started upon an edge of the input signal. The capacitance voltage is measured by a single transistor and when the transistor is turned on, the charging current of the capacitance is diverted via the transistor, so that the capacitance voltage is limited. The capacitance is discharged upon a second edge, after which the cycle is repeated. The output signal of the pulse shaper is a signal which varies with the current through the capacitance.
