A light deflecting apparatus is employed in a light scanning unit of an image forming device. Such a deflecting apparatus includes a stator having a sleeve disposed at a printed circuit board (PCB), and a core disposed around the sleeve, to which coils are wound; a rotor having a rotor frame connected to an axis which is rotatably supported in the sleeve, and a rotor housing fixed to the rotor frame to surround the core; and a polygon mirror supported on the rotor frame. At least one of the rotor frame and the rotor housing is formed of a plastic material. Because the rotor frame and/or the rotor housing is formed of the plastic material, the high precision manufacture of such a light deflecting apparatus which requires mechanical machining and press working, is not needed. As a result, the manufacture of such a light deflecting apparatus is made simpler and easier; and, likewise, a working time and an exhaustion of manpower are reduced, so that a manufacturing cost is reduced. In addition, an unbalance of weight at the rotor frame and/or the rotor housing, which is influenced by a working precision thereof, is minimized, so that the light deflecting apparatus may maintain a stable performance.

Provided is a load driving device controlling a drive of a load including a driver for periodically turning on/off a current according to a switching clock signal and supplying a average driving current to the load. Further provided is a dimming controller for controlling the driver to turn on/off the drive of the load based on a dimming step. Also provided is a controller for controlling at least one of the driver and the dimming controller so as to make a step interval of the dimming step and a switching clock period of the switching clock signal the same. A load driving device is provided that is capable of stably controlling the dimming of a drive of a load, by improving a linear response characteristic of a driving current according to a dimming control.

Provided herein is a lens composition of an LED device for an LCD having high transparency and high heat resistance, and an LED device, a backlight unit and an LCD comprising the lens composition. The lens composition includes a copolymer represented by the formula 1 and having a weight average molecular weight of about 5,000 to about 500,000: wherein R1 and R2 independently represent a hydrogen atom, a linear, branched or cyclic alkyl group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms or —COOR3 group in which R3 represents a linear, branched or cyclic alkyl group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms, R4 and R5 independently represent a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms, the ratio n/n+m ranges from about 0.3 to about 0.995, and the ratio m/n+m ranges from about 0.005 to about 0.7.

The present invention relates to a prism sheet for a liquid crystal display apparatus having a predetermined pitch on a first side thereof and a plurality of prism mountains formed in parallel with each other, wherein at least one V-shaped groove is formed on a top portion of each of the prism mountains along a lengthwise direction of the prism mountains. Thus, the present invention provides a prism sheet improving vertical incidence with respect to a liquid crystal display panel by concentrating light, and uniformly distributing brightness, and a liquid crystal display apparatus using thereof.

A light scanning unit, which can prevent contamination using a photocatalytic layer, and an image forming apparatus employing the same. The light scanning unit includes a light source to switch on and off to generate at least one beam that corresponds to an image signal, a beam deflector to deflect and scan the at least one beam emitted by the light source, a housing containing the light source and the beam deflector, a transparent cover installed on the housing to protect internal elements within the housing and to transmit the at least one beam deflected and scanned by the beam deflector, and a photocatalytic layer formed on at least one surface of the transparent cover to be activated by an incident beam having a predetermined wavelength to decompose organic materials thereon.

Provided is a method of fabricating a CMOS transistor in which, after a polysilicon layer used as a gate is formed on a semiconductor substrate, a photoresist pattern that exposes an n-MOS transistor region is formed on the polysilicon layer. An impurity is implanted in the polysilicon layer of the n-MOS transistor region using the photoresist pattern as a mask, and the photoresist pattern is removed. If the polysilicon layer of the n-MOS transistor region is damaged by the implanting of the impurity, the polysilicon layer of the n-MOS transistor region is annealed, and a p-MOS transistor gate and an n-MOS transistor gate are formed by patterning the polysilicon layer. The semiconductor substrate, the p-MOS transistor gate and the n-MOS transistor gate is cleaned with a hydrofluoric acid (HF) solution, without causing a decrease in height of the n-MOS transistor gate.
