    摘要: An engine assembly (10) comprising an engine, a plurality of coolers, a plurality of bypasses, and at least one actuator (32). The engine has an exhaust manifold and an intake manifold. The gaseous fluid exiting the exhaust manifold is recirculated to the intake manifold. The exhaust gas passes through either an air cooler or a bypass. At least one actuator is operably connected to the plurality of bypasses. The bypasses have a valve (28, 30) which is actuated to control the flow of the gaseous fluid through the bypass as both the bypass and the cooler. Therefore, when a single actuator is used to control the valves in both bypasses, the valves in the bypasses have the same relationship with the inlets so that a single actuator movement will control both valves in the same manner.

    摘要: A secondary air system 10 is proposed for an internal combustion engine, which has a turbine 11 driven by a pressure gradient in the intake air and a compressor 14 driven by the turbine 11. The turbine is connected by a turbine inlet line 12 and a turbine outlet line 13 to an air intake duct 20. The compressor 14 has a compressor inlet line 15 and a compressor outlet line 16. The cold produced by the turbine 11 is used by a turbine heat exchanger 17 and transport lines 27 for the cooling of, e.g., oil. The heat produced by the compressor 14 is used by a compressor heat exchanger 18 and the transport lines 27 connected thereto, e.g., for heating air.

    摘要: An air management assembly (10) for use in an engine (12) with an exhaust manifold (14) that outputs an exhaust gas and an intake manifold (16), with a filter (18) in fluid communication between the exhaust manifold (14) and turbocharger (20). The air management assembly (10) provides a compressor (22), a turbine (24), at least one gaseous fluid cooler (32, 36, 44), at least one bypass (28, 28)′ and a housing (30) where the compressor (22), turbine (24), at least one gaseous fluid cooler (32), (36, 44), bypass (28, 28′), or combination thereof are integrated into the housing (30). The compressor (22) is in fluid communication with the intake manifold (16). The turbine (24) is in fluid communication with the exhaust manifold (14). The turbine (24) and the compressor (22) are moveably coupled and move in conjunction with one another. The gaseous fluid coolers (32, 36, 44) are in fluid communication with the compressor (32), turbine (24), or combination thereof. The bypass (28′) is in fluid communication with an output of the turbine (24) and an input of the compressor (22) for selective bypassing of the gaseous fluid cooler (44).
