    摘要: A method of fabricating a nitride semiconductor includes the steps of forming a nitride semiconductor doped with a p-type impurity, treating the surface of the nitride semiconductor in an atmosphere containing active oxygen to remove carbon remaining on the surface and form an oxide film thereon, and activating the p-type impurity to turn the conductive type of the nitride semiconductor into a p-type. Since carbon remaining on the surface of the nitride semiconductor is removed and the oxide film is formed thereon, the surface of the nitride semiconductor is prevented from being deteriorated by the activating treatment and the rate of activating the p-type impurity is enhanced. As a result, it is possible to reduce the contact resistance of the nitride semiconductor with an electrode and, hence, the variation in characteristics of the nitride semiconductor.

    摘要: The invention discloses a method for counting foreign matter particles in a vinyl chloride resin powder comprising the steps of: forming an aqueous dispersion of the resin particles in a vessel having a transparent bottom, allowing the particles to settle forming a layer together with the foreign matter particles and viewing the layer of the deposited particles through the transparent bottom of the vessel to count the foreign matter particles in the deposited layer. The invention also provides an apparatus system for automatically counting foreign matter particles which comprises a vessel having a transparent bottom, a feed means for the resin powder, a water supply means, a stirrer means to form an aqueous dispersion in the vessel, a viewing means such as a CCD camera for recording the bottom image of the deposited layer through the transparent bottom of the vessel, and a control means for bringing the various parts of the system into a sequential linkage motion.

    摘要: A resin composition for low expansion moldings which comprises (A) 20 to 80 parts by weight of a vinyl chloride resin having an average degree of polymerization of from 500 to 1700 and (B) correspondingly from 80 to 20 parts by weight of a copolymer made of 60 to 90 parts by weight a polymerizable monomer mixture consisting of 20 to 40 wt % of acrylonitrile, 20 to 60 wt % of .alpha.-methylstyrene and 20 to 40 wt % of styrene and, correspondingly, 40 to 10 parts by weight of a crosslinked acrylic rubber. The resin composition further comprises (C) 0.5 to 30 parts by weight of an acrylic resin having a reduced viscosity of not less than 3.0 dl/g when measured by use of a chloroform solution of the acrylic resin at a concentration of 0.1 g/100 ml, (D) 0.1 to 10 parts by weight of a thermally decomposable rosining agent, and (E) from 1 to 10 parts by weight of a stabilizer, each based on 100 parts by weight of a mixture of the components (A) and (B).

    摘要: An aqueous high concentration coal slurry having a high dispersion stability is produced by a process in which a coal material is wet pulverized at a low concentration in a dispersing agent-free aqueous medium, the resultant coal slurry is hydrated, the dehydrated coal cakes are mixed with an aqueous dispersing additive solution to provide an aqueous coal slurry (A), a portion (B) of the slurry (A) is further pulverized, and the pulverized portion (B) is mixed with the remaining portion (D) of the slurry (A), or by a process in which a coal material is pulverized in an aqueous dispersing agent solution to provide a slurry moiety (E), separately a cake moiety (E) is provided, the slurry moiety (E) is mixed with the cake moiety (E) the above-mentioned process being carried out to an extent such that the resultant coal slurry contains coal particles having a size of 5 .mu.m or less in a content of 15% by weight or more and coal particles having a size of 500 .mu.m or less at a particle size distribution in which a variation coefficient C in size of the coal particles is 0.3 to 0.75.

The resin composition also includes (b) 1 to 30 parts by weight of a paste resin of a vinyl chloride polymer or vinyl chloride copolymer whose mean grain size is 2 .mu.m or less and mean degree of polymerization is 500 to 2000. The resin composition further includes (c) 30 to 200 parts by weight of a plasticizer and (d) 0.1 to 30 parts by weight of a water-containing silicic acid or silicic anhydride whose mean grain size is 5 .mu.m or less and has excellent powder fluidity characteristics (workability), when repeatedly heated. The moldings obtained by power slush molding of this resin compound are remarkably improved in their dull finishing characteristics and resistance to heat distortion.
