摘要:
Methods are provided to obtain recombinant microbial cells having at least one genetic modification that increase the buoyant density of a recombinant microbial cell or the buoyant density of inclusion bodies produced within a recombinant microbial cell. Exemplified are genetic modifications that increase the buoyant density of a recombinant microbial cell expressing heterologous peptides and polypeptides. Increasing expression of the genes ysaB, glyQ, glyS or a combination thereof within the recombinant microbial cell produces cells or inclusion bodies having higher buoyant density. A similar effect was achieved by decreasing or disrupting expression of the endogenous gltA gene. Increases in buoyant density render peptide production more efficient with respect to time and costs.

An index is created for a database by selecting at least one column of a database table as a basis to create the index, generating at least one index of a tree structure according to the at least one column, where a pointer stored in a leaf node of the at least one index is null. In an example embodiment, a value to a pointer is stored in a leaf node according to an intermediate result in response to the intermediate result being generated, where the pointer stored in the leaf node points to a data page storing the intermediate result. The created index can be reused and the intermediate result can be effectively used, such that the efficiency of database operation is improved.

A switch control system for controlling an electrically conductive fluid supply to a tank, includes a detection circuit, a gate circuit, a control circuit and a switch circuit. The detection circuit detects a fluid level in the tank and outputs a voltage level signal. The gate circuit receives the voltage level signal and outputs control signals accordingly. The control circuit receives the control signals and outputs a first voltage and a second voltage accordingly. The switch circuit receives the first voltage and the second voltage and turns on and turns off the electrically conductive fluid supply to the tank in accordance with the first voltage and the second voltage.

This disclosure concerns novel compounds of Formula (I) as defined in the specification and compositions comprising such novel compounds. These compounds are useful antiviral agents, especially in inhibiting the function of the NS5A protein encoded by Hepatitis C virus (HCV). Thus, the disclosure also concerns a method of treating HCV related diseases or conditions by use of these novel compounds or a composition comprising such novel compounds.

Embodiments of a dynamic leakage control circuit for use with graphics processor circuitry are described. The dynamic leakage control circuit selectively enables back biasing of the transistors comprising the graphics processor circuits during particular modes of operation. The back biasing levels are controlled by two separate power rails. A first power rail is coupled to an existing power supply and the second power rail is coupled to a separate adjustable voltage regulator. A separate voltage regulator may also be provided for the first power rail. A hardware-based state machine or software process is programmed to detect the occurrence of one or more modes of operation and adjust the voltage regulators for the first and second power rails to either enable or disable the back biasing state of the circuit, or alter the threshold voltage of the circuit within a specified voltage range.

An apparatus for ascertaining and/or monitoring fill level of a medium in a container. The apparatus includes an antenna, which transmits and receives high frequency signals in a predetermined oscillatory mode in a bounded space in a predetermined radiation direction, wherein, in front of the antenna in the radiation direction, an antenna protection element of a material transmissive for the high frequency signals is provided, and wherein a control/evaluation unit is provided, which evaluates the received high frequency signals and ascertains the fill level.

The present invention discloses a method and system for data distribution in a High-Performance Computing cluster, the High-Performance Computing cluster comprising a Management node and M computation nodes where M is an integer greater than or equal to 2, the Management node distributing the specified data to the M computation nodes, the method comprising steps of: dividing the M computation nodes into m layers where m is an integer greater than or equal to 2; dividing the specified data into k shares where k is an integer greater than or equal to 2; distributing, by the Management node, the k shares of data to a first layer of computation nodes as sub-nodes thereof, each of the first layer of computation nodes obtaining at least one share of data therein; distributing, by each of the computation nodes, the at least one share of data distributed by a parent node thereof to sub-computation nodes thereof; and requesting, by each of the computation nodes, the remaining specified data to other computation nodes, to thereby obtain all the specified data. The method and system enable data to be distributed rapidly to various computation nodes in the High-Performance Computing cluster.

The present invention discloses a method for localized scrolling table display in a webpage. The method includes: dividing a table being displayed into at least a 2×2 array of an upper left table, a lower left table, an upper right table and a lower right table; setting the lower left table and the upper right table to hide portions that are beyond display area; and setting the lower right table to hide portions that are beyond the display area and to include a vertical scrollbar and a horizontal scrollbar. The upper right table and the lower right table are controlled by the horizontal scrollbar, and the lower left table and the lower right table are controlled by the vertical scrollbar. The present invention is able to display a table in a webpage with a localized scrolling display and a partial frozen display, and allows unlimited number of data columns and rows in the webpage and still maintains good readability. This satisfies the need for displaying table of a large amount of data for data comparison, and allows the user to conveniently and freely scroll any cell of the table to the display area to be displayed.
