The printhead module comprises: an upper micromolding locating a printhead integrated circuit, wherein the upper micromolding includes a first series of ink inlets in fluid communication with the printhead integrated circuit; a lower micromolding including a second series of ink inlets which are in fluid communication with the first series of ink inlets; and a mid-package film located between the upper and lower micromoldings, wherein the mid-package film includes a plurality of holes through which ink passes from the second series of ink inlets to the first series of ink inlets.

    摘要： A drying system for a printer is provided. The printer feeds a media web along a media path past a printhead to an exit region. The drying system has a first chamber positioned on one side of the media web between the printhead and exit region, a heating element within the first chamber, a fan positioned to direct air past the heating element to produce heated air, and a second chamber positioned on the other side of the media web opposite the first chamber, the second chamber having an opening through which the heated air from the first chamber passes. The opening is configured so that the printed media web extends from the media path as a loop to hang within the second chamber through the opening from opposite sides of the opening.

    摘要： Provided is a printhead assembly including an ink supply arrangement and a plurality of printhead segment carriers. The ink supply arrangement has a profile member defining a semi-open cross-section with a peripheral, structured side walls having free, opposing, lengthwise running edges delineating a gap extending along the entire length of the profile member. The profile member also defines three internal webs that stand out from a base wall section of the peripheral wall into the interior of said member so as to define together with the side wall sections a total of four ink supply channels which are open towards the gap. The plurality of printhead segment carriers are operatively fast with the ink supply arrangement so that the ink supply channels are arranged in fluid communication with printheads supported on said segments.
