    摘要: The thermal interference due to the self heating of transistors constituting a gilbert cell circuit is reduced, thereby largely improving the receiving sensitivity to signals. A mixer circuit composed of a gilbert cell circuit comprises transistors T1 to T6. Each of the transistors T1 to T4 is con figured so that four transistors may be connected in parallel. In a layout on a semiconductor chip, four transistors T1a to T1d and T2a to T2d respectively constituting the transistors T1 and T2 are respectively separated into two pairs, and the respective two pairs are laid out in a crisscross shape so that they are crossed with each other. Similarly, four transistors T3a to T3d and T4a to T4d respectively constituting the transistors T3 and T4 are respectively separated into two pairs, and the respective two pairs are laid out in a crisscross shape so that they are crossed with each other. Thus, the thermal influence applied on the transistors T1 to T4 is uniformed.

A surface illumination device 10 comprising a light guide plate 1 for propagating incident light inside itself and reflecting the light at the reflecting prism face 1S to output the light from the light exit face. This further comprises: a polarizing plate 3 provided on the light exit face; and an anti-reflection film 4 provided on the polarizing plate 3. The reflecting prism face 1S extends so that a direction of electric vector's vibration of an s-polarized light component of a reflecting light ray caused by an incident light ray in a predetermined propagation direction is in parallel with a polarization axis of the polarizing plate 3, whereby a light efficiency can be improved.

The air suction device is composed of a throttle body, a surge tank and an intake manifold including a plurality of branch members extending from the surge tank, the intake manifold is disposed vertically, in the installed state, on one side of the engine so that the intake manifold is located between the flywheel magnet device and the oil filter as viewed from a side portion thereof and the intake manifold has at least a portion superposed on the flywheel magnet device and the oil filter as viewed in a plan view. The electric equipment box and the exhaust device are disposed on another side of the engine opposing to the side on which the intake manifold is disposed.

    摘要: A process for manufacturing a monolithic catalyst converter includes the steps of fitting a monolithic catalyst into a tube-shaped workpiece having opposite opening ends through one of the opposite opening ends, and drawing the tube-shaped workpiece at the opposite opening ends into a funnel shape by means of spinning. Thus, a monolithic catalyst converter is completed without carrying out welding. Hence, the monolithic catalyst converter can be manufactured with a high material yield (or a low scrap rate), at a reduced cost and under a good working environment, because it can be manufactured without the conventional troublesome welding operation and/or a leak-test inspection.
