Abstract: An embodiment comprises a drug solution ejecting device having a pressure chamber including a discharge port on a first side, a supply port on a second side, and an inner wall of the pressure chamber between the first and second sides. An actuator is configured to change pressure to eject a solution from a nozzle via the discharge port. The inner wall of the pressure chamber includes at least a part that is silicon or silicon oxide. As detected by X-rat photoelectron spectroscopy, a surface of the part has a ratio of a total area of peaks of silicon in monovalent, divalent, and trivalent binding states to an area of a peak of silicon in a tetravalent binding state that is greater than a same such ratio of a surface of a silicon wafer having only an untreated natural oxide film formed thereon.

Abstract: A droplet ejecting head includes a board, a pressure chamber, a nozzle, and an actuator configured to cause a pressure change in the pressure chamber in response to an electrical signal supplied from a drive circuit. The drive circuit is configured to set the electrical signal at a first voltage level, change the electrical signal to a second voltage level, set the electrical signal to a third voltage level during a time period after changing the electrical signal from the first voltage level to the second voltage level, the time period being equal to a primary natural oscillation period of the actuator when the pressure chamber and the nozzle are filled with solution, and set the electrical signal to the first voltage level after the time period has elapsed. The third voltage level is between the first and second voltage levels or equal to the second voltage level.

Abstract: A droplet ejecting apparatus includes a solution container, first and second nozzle groups fluidly connected to the solution container and having nozzles from which the solution can be ejected, first actuators respectively associated with each nozzle in the first nozzle group, second actuators respectively associated with each nozzle in the second nozzle group, and drive circuits respectively connected in a parallel to the first and second actuators. Each nozzle has a pressure chamber associated therewith. Each actuator causes a pressure change in a corresponding pressure chamber to control an ejection of a droplet of the solution from the corresponding nozzle. Each drive circuit is configured to supply a drive signal. When supplied by each drive circuit to the first and second actuators respectively, each drive signal causes solution to be ejected from each nozzle of each respective nozzle group at a same time.
