    摘要: A developing device is disclosed which includes a developing tank, a developing roller, a carrying member, and a filter. Rotation of the developing roller causes a first airflow directed from the outside of the developing tank through an air path to the inside of the developing tank. Rotation of the carrying member causes a second airflow directed from below in an upward direction inside the developing tank. Collision between the first airflow and the second airflow causes a third airflow directed from the inside of the developing tank through the filter to the outside of the developing tank and further from the outside through the filter back to the inside of the developing tank. This arrangement prevents not only filter clogging but also a toner leak to the outside of the developing device.

When an error is detected in the downstream of the cooling unit by the error detecting member, the recording material is stopped after the recording material on the endless belt is conveyed to a position in which the cooling unit cools the recording material.

    摘要: There are provided a microchemical system capable of acquiring a highly accurate TLM output value and a method for calculating TLM output thereof. A microchemical system 1 comprises: a microchemical chip having a channel with a depth t in which a sample flows; an exciting light source 13 adapted to irradiate the sample with an exciting light through an objective lens 10 with a numerical aperture NA; a detecting light source 14 adapted to irradiate the sample with a detecting light coaxially with the exciting light through the objective lens 10; and a PD adapted to receive a transmitted light when the detecting light transmits the sample before and after formation of a thermal lens 12. When a TLM output is calculated in the microchemical system 1 on the basis of a received light amount of the PD, the depth t (μm) is set to the range of 75≦t≦300, the numerical aperture NA is set to the range of 0.04≦NA≦0.1 and chromatic aberrations df (nm) for the exciting light and the detecting light of the objective lens 10 is set to the range of 100≦df≦250.

    摘要: A microchemical system according to which measurement can be carried out with high sensitivity. The microchemical system 1 has a two-wavelength multiplexing device in which gradient index rod lenses 501 and 502 are connected together at an end face of each thereof and a dielectric multi-layer film filter 503 is formed between these end faces. Exciting light and detecting light is multiplexed by the two-wavelength multiplexing device, and then the exciting light and the detecting light are guided to an optical fiber unit 10 through an optical fiber 101 with a single mode. The optical fiber unit 10 has built therein a gradient index rod lens 102 at a leading end thereof, and the exciting light and the detecting light are irradiated onto a sample from the gradient index rod lens 102.
