摘要: In an integrated free-fall detection device for a portable apparatus an acceleration sensor generates acceleration signals correlated to the components of the acceleration of the portable apparatus along three detection axes. A dedicated purely hardware circuit connected to the acceleration sensor generates a free-fall detection signal in a continuous way and in real-time. The free-fall detection signal has a first logic value in the event that the acceleration signals are simultaneously lower than a respective acceleration threshold, and is sent to a processor unit of the portable apparatus as an interrupt signal to activate appropriate actions of protection for the portable apparatus. Preferably, the acceleration sensor and the dedicated purely hardware circuit are integrated in a single chip and the acceleration sensor is made as a MEMS.

摘要: In accordance with one or more embodiments, a system determines an image, selects a panel of participants, and outputs the image to each of the participants of the panel of participants. The image may be an image of a garment a shopper is considering purchasing, an image of the shopper wearing the garment, or an image of a virtual model of the shopper combined with an image of the garment. The panel of participants may be selected based on a characteristic associated with the shopper. The image may be output to the panel of participants along with a request for an opinion regarding the garment (e.g., “Buy It” or “Don't Buy It”). The responses may be collected from the participants and an indication of the results may be output to the shopper.

摘要: A white balance control method is disclosed. The method first sets an initial white balance setting. Secondly, based on the white balance setting, an image is obtained. Both averaged RGB values of the whole image and white pixel are obtained. Information of both averaged RGB values of the whole image and white pixel are respectively used to calculate white balance information. Thirdly, both white balance information of the whole image and the white pixel RGB are used to determine whether the current white balance status matches the actual ambient lighting condition or not. If the determination result shows there is a need to select a new white balance status, a new white balance setting is then set. Finally, the procedure is returned back to acquire a new image and the above steps are repeated. The disclosure of the present invention can be applied to an image processing apparatus and method.

摘要: A method for manufacturing foam pads includes a first step of preparing a proper amount of PVC power, DOP curing agent, light calcium carbonate, kaolin, foaming agent and pigment and pouring them into a blending device to be blended and form a liquid starchy material. Next, the liquid starchy material is conveyed into an intermediate material barrel and kept stationary for pre-foaming at normal temperature for about 8 hours and then coated on a conveyer pelt to form a starchy material layer. Subsequently, the starchy material layer is kept stationary and heated at 80-90° C. for about 3-10 minutes and then continuously heated at 185-200° C. for about 20-30 minutes to form an integral-sheeted foam pad. After cooled, the integral-sheeted foam pad is thermo-compressed and cut into various foam pad products.

摘要: A realtime video display method of mixed signals applies to a monitoring system. The monitoring system has a monitoring host connected to a plurality of digital monitoring devices and a plurality of analog monitoring devices. In this method, digital video data from an Internet/LAN/WAN and analog video data from a transmission interface are first received. Next, a data fetch server is used to collect the video data for processing and then output the processed image data to a data mixer. The data mixer then merges the digital video data and the analog video data into a signal mixing different data sources. The digital video data and the analog video data can thus be displayed at a browse terminal in real time. Therefore, signals of different types can be integrated for realtime display on the same management screen to effectively exploit a real benefit of security management.

摘要: An MRAM cell including an MRAM cell stack located over a substrate and first and second write lines spanning at least one side of the MRAM cell stack and defining a projected region of intersection of the MRAM cell stack and the first and second write lines. The MRAM cell stack includes a pinned layer, a tunneling barrier layer, and a free layer, the tunneling barrier layer interposing the pinned layer and the free layer. The first write line extends in a first direction within the projected region of intersection. The second write line extends in a second direction within the projected region of intersection. The first and second directions are angularly offset by an angle ranging between 45 and 90 degrees, exclusively. At least one write line may be perpendicular to the easy axis of free layer, while the other line may be rotated off the easy axis of the free layer by an angle which is larger than zero, such as to compensate for a shifting astroid curve.
