摘要： A handling apparatus includes a base member having a rotating shaft, of a multijoint arm having one end portion thereof connected to the rotating shaft, a holder mounted at the free end portion of the arm, for holding a wafer, a stepping motor for circling the holder together with the arm about the rotating shaft, and another stepping motor for pivoting the arm joints. The multijoint arm is constituted by a plurality of parallel crank mechanisms arranged on corresponding planes in parallel with the circulating plane. One of the links constituting the first-stage parallel crank mechanism is fixed on the base member. During nonuse of the apparatus, the respective parallel crank mechanism overlap each other on the base member. Pulleys are mounted on joints of the arm, and a wire is wrapped around the pulleys. When at least one of the pulleys is pivoted, the parallel crank mechanisms are displaced, thereby extending or retracting the arm.

The centrally located lens element of the scanning lens has a refractive power in the direction for correcting the surface tilt, that is, an inverted number of a focal length that is changed in accordance with the scanning view angle, whereby curvature of field is well corrected and RMS spot diameters on the scanning surface may be small. In addition, even if the view angle is increased, imaging characteristics may be kept at a high resolving power.

The ternary system is expressed by the general formula [Pb(Mg.sub.1/3 Nb.sub.2/3)O.sub.3 ].sub.x -[Pb(Ni.sub.1/3 Nb.sub.2/3)O.sub.3 ].sub.y -[PbTiO.sub.3 ].sub.z wherein the subscripts x, y and z satisfy the equation x+y+z=1 and fall within the region defined by the line segments joining the seven points A, B, C, D, E, F and G within the triangular ternary-system diagram shown in the accompanying drawing. Preferably, the lead manganese-niobate (Pb(Mn.sub.1/3 Nb.sub.2/3)O.sub.3) is contained in a proportion of 0.01 mol % to 10 mol % to the major constituent.

摘要： A compressor of a type in which a plurality of pistons reciprocate in cylinders, the improved compressor in which a mechanism is provided to reduce pulsating of suction pressure in the cylinder head. The inside of the cylinder head is partitioned into a high pressure chamber on the side of the center and a low pressure chamber on the side of the periphery by means of bulkhead formed on the cylinder head. The low pressure chamber communicates the suction holes and the discharge opening formed on the cylinder head. The outer peripheral wall of the low pressure chamber is arranged to reduce a resistance of gas passing through the low pressure chamber as the convex portion constituting the periphery of the connecting bolt and the concave portion constituting the peripheries of the suction holes are connected by means of a connecting portion having a smooth curved surface.
