摘要: When carrying out in vivo examination of a living organism, the behavior in the interior thereof is continuously observed with clear images. Provided is an in-vivo examination apparatus 1 comprising an optical unit 4 including a light source 2 and an image acquisition device 3; and an observation head 5, which is disposed with a gap with respect to the optical unit 4 and which is fixed to a living organism A, wherein the optical unit 4 includes a first collimator optical system 7 for converting light from the light source 2 into collimated light L1 and introducing it into the observation head 5 and an image-forming optical system 9 for focusing return light from the observation head 5 to form an image at the image-acquisition device 3, and wherein the observation optical head 5 includes a second collimator optical system 15 for focusing the collimated light L1 incident from the optical unit 4 to irradiate an examination target site B in the living organism A, as well as for converting return light from the living organism into collimated light L2 and introducing it into the optical unit 4.

摘要: A clear image having suppressed blurring due to pulsing is obtained by in-vivo examination of biological tissue or various internal organs of mammals, including small laboratory animals. The invention provides an optical-scanning microscope examination apparatus including a light source; a light-transmitting member for transmitting light from the light source; a collimator optical system for converting the transmitted light to a collimated beam; a beam-scanning unit for scanning the collimated beam on a subject; a focusing optical system for focusing the scanned beam onto the subject; a pupil-projection optical system; a light detector for detecting return light returning from the subject via the focusing optical system, the pupil-projection optical system, the beam-scanning unit, the collimator optical system, and the light-transmitting member; an actuator for moving the collimator optical system in an optical-axis direction; a control apparatus for controlling driving thereof; and a deflecting mechanism for deflecting the light issuing from the light-transmitting member in a direction intersecting the optical axis thereof, wherein the actuator is disposed in a space parallel to a plane including optical axes before and after deflection by the deflecting mechanism.

摘要: An easily viewable examination image in which blurring occurring in an image is reduced without operating an examination optical system in real time matching the motion of a specimen is obtained. There is provided an examination method comprising, prior to examining an examination site of a specimen, acquiring an image of the specimen surface of an examination region including the examination site, over a predetermined time range; extracting a plurality of feature points by processing the acquired image of the specimen surface; calculating a motion trajectory for each of the extracted feature points over the time range; and disposing an optical axis of an examination optical system at a position where the motion trajectory of a feature point disposed in the examination site is minimized.

摘要: A focusing method for an examination apparatus that can quickly and easily perform focusing for fluoroscopy is provided. The focusing method, for an examination apparatus that can observe fluorescence emitted from a specimen, includes a first step of irradiating the specimen with light via an objective lens to generate reflected light and fluorescence; a second step of performing focusing with respect to the surface of the specimen using the reflected light from the specimen; and a third step of performing focusing for the fluorescence based on the focal position of the specimen surface in the second step.

摘要: Dynamic movement of various specimens is effectively suppressed, while easily allowing compatibility with various specimens having a wide range of types, sizes, and shapes, and various types of examination methods of specimens. A stabilizer for in vivo examination that is placed in contact with a biological specimen in the vicinity of an observation optical axis during examination of the specimen to suppress movement thereof includes a tip configured to contact the biological specimen, and a movable member configured to support the tip so that the tip can move in a direction intersecting the observation optical axis. The tip is attached to the movable member in such a manner so as to be attachable thereto and detachable therefrom.

摘要: The invention provides an in-vivo examination apparatus that can examine a minute examination site in a living organism with a simple configuration. The invention provides an in-vivo examination apparatus comprising a light source; a flexible light-conveying member that transmits light from the light source to irradiate the light from an end face thereof onto an examination site and that receives return light returning from the examination site at the end face thereof to transmit the return light; a long thin insertion part in which the light-conveying member is disposed along the longitudinal direction thereof; and an optical detector that detects the return light from biological tissue, which is transmitted through the insertion part via the light-conveying member. The end face of the insertion part, where the end face of the light-conveying member is exposed, is configured so as to be cut at an angle with respect to the longitudinal direction to provide a pointed portion that can incise the biological tissue at the tip thereof.
