The contacts of the identifiable TAB are arranged into at least one identifiable area for aiding in identifying the inkjet cartridge.
Abstract:
An automatic power control system, a down sampling circuit and a down sampling method. The automatic power control system is incorporated in an optical disc drive comprising a laser diode for receiving a control signal to generate a laser beam; and a photodetector for detecting the laser beam to generate an analog input signal. The automatic power control system comprises an analog-to-digital converter, a down sampling circuit, a comparator, and a digital-to-analog converter. The analog-to-digital converter converts the analog input signal to digital data. The down sampling circuit, coupled to the analog-to-digital converter, comprises a down sampler, a counter, and a controller. The down sampler receives a predetermined amount of digital data to generate representation data. The counter, coupled to the down sampler, calculates the amount of digital data, and resets the down sampler when the amount equals or exceeds the predetermined count. The controller, coupled to the counter, disables the counter when the digital data is invalid. The comparator, coupled to the down sampling circuit, compares the representation data with predetermined target data to generate error data. The digital-to-analog converter, coupled to the comparator, converts the error data to analog to generate the control signal.
Abstract:
The invention discloses an identifiable flexible printed circuit board (PCB) and a method of fabricating the same. The identifiable flexible PCB includes a flexible substrate, a conductive layer, and a printing ink layer. First, the conductive layer is formed over a surface of the flexible substrate. Second, the printing ink layer is formed on the surface of the flexible substrate by coating, exposing, and developing to uncover parts of the conductive layer. Also, at least one identifiable area is formed on the printing ink layer and one can easily and correctly identify the cartridge with the flexible PCB.

Abstract:
A method for manufacturing a fluid injection head. The fluid injection head structure is formed on a substrate and has a manifold therein, bubble generators, a conductive trace, and at least two rows of chambers adjacent to the manifold in flow communication with the manifold. The conductive trace disposed on a top surface of the substrate and partially disposed between the two rows of the chambers above the manifold is used to drive the bubble generator.
Abstract:
An inkjet apparatus and a method of preventing misplacing the inkjet cartridge therein are disclosed. The inkjet apparatus comprises a carriage, a control unit and a sensor. The carriage is equipped with at least an inkjet cartridge that has an identifiable area. The color of the identifiable area is associated with the colors of ink stored in the inkjet cartridge. The sensor detects the color of the identifiable area and sends a signal to the control unit. The control unit receives the signal and determines whether the inkjet cartridge is correctly placed. If the inkjet cartridge is misplaced, a warning signal is generated to alert the user.
Abstract:
This present invention provides an ink jet printhead and method of delivering ink to the printhead. The printhead has a substrate, a nozzle layer, and a plurality of bubble generators. A plurality of first chambers and a plurality of second chambers are formed between the nozzle layer and the top of the substrate. A central ink flow channel and a periphery ink flow channel for delivering ink to the chambers are formed in the substrate. The characteristic of the present invention is positioning the central ink flow channel and the periphery ink flow channel together on the substrate so that the amount of the nozzles per unit area of the printhead is increased.
Abstract:
A head cartridge with a bubble chamber has an ink reservoir, a print head, and an ink channel. The ink reservoir stores ink. The print head has a plurality of heaters for generating bubbles, so that ink is jetted from the print head by the bubbles. The ink channel is installed below the ink reservoir for transmitting ink into the print head from the ink reservoir, and the ink channel has a bubble chamber for collecting residual bubbles to increase an efficiency of the fluid in flowing from the ink reservoir to the ink pipe.
Abstract:
A printhead cartridge mounts within a carriage of a printer. The carriage moves along a first direction within the printer. The printhead cartridge includes an inkwell for storing ink, which has a front surface and a bottom surface, a printhead mounted on the bottom surface, and a plurality of contacts for receiving signals from the printer and to provide the signals to the printhead. A centerline of the front surface, running perpendicular to the first direction, evenly defines first and second sides of the front surface. The contacts are disposed on the front surface, and a distribution of the contacts on the first side exceeds a corresponding distribution of the contacts on the second side.
Abstract:
A controller of an optical storage apparatus for generating a plurality of control signals is provided. The controller includes a code generator implemented for determining a plurality of control codes according to an input data associated with data recording, and generating the control signals to deliver the control codes. Each of the control codes represents one power level. Besides, regarding each of the control signals, a minimum transmission pulse length thereof corresponds to more than one power symbol period.
