The process includes the steps of: providing an insulation tape; forming conductive traces on the insulation tape; and forming a photo-polymer layer filling between the conductive traces, wherein parts of the conductive traces are exposed to form a plurality of contacts. The material of the insulation tape can be polyimide, Teflon, polyamide, polymethylmethacrylate, polycarbonate, polyester, polyamide polyethylene-terephthalate copolymer, or any combination of the above materials. The material of the photo-polymer layer can be solder mask or polyimide.

A jet ink of magenta comprising reactive red 180, acid red 52, and reactive red is disclosed in the present invention, wherein the said jet ink of magenta has the advantages of decreasing the color-fading phenomenon due to water exposure and light irradiation. Therefore, the properties of light-fastness and water-fastness are improved greatly, and thus, so is the printing quality.

The inkjet cartridge includes a casing and a flexible printed circuit board (PCB). The casing has an ink reservoir for containing ink. The flexible PCB, disposed to the casing, includes a flexible substrate, a conductive trace, and a printing ink layer, wherein the flexible substrate has a first surface, and the conductive trace is formed thereon. The printing ink layer is formed on the first surface of the flexible substrate, and the first surface is partially covered by the printing ink layer to bare parts of the conductive trace. Also, at least one identifiable area is formed at the printing ink layer for identification, wherein the color of the identifiable area is associated with the color of ink in the ink reservoir.

An apparatus for using the bubble as a virtual valve to eject ink comprises a chamber, orifice, and heaters. The chamber, having a top surface and a bottom surface, is connected to the ink reservoir by a manifold. Two heaters, connected in series to a common electrode, are located on the bottom surface of the chamber. One heater having higher resistance is positioned adjacent to the manifold, and the other heater having lower resistance is positioned away from the manifold. When an electrical pulse is applied to activate the heaters, the heater close to the manifold heats up first, and generates a first bubble to isolate the ink flow between the chamber and manifold, thereby reducing the effects of cross talk. Subsequently, the heater away from the manifold generates the second bubble to pressurize the ink in the chamber with the first bubble, and the ink is ejected through the orifice. Then, the first bubble collapses, and breaks the isolation between the manifold and the chamber. The ink in the manifold immediately refills to the chamber.

An inkjet ink of multicolor dye set with high light-fastness and high water-fastness includes: a multicolor dye set, a surfactant, and an aqueous solvent. The multicolor dye set includes a cyan dye set, a magenta dye set, and a yellow dye set. The cyan dye set includes direct blue 199 dye, acid blue 9 dye, and direct blue 86 dye. The magenta dye set includes reactive red 180 dye, acid red 52 dye, and reactive red dye. The yellow dye set includes acid yellow 23 and direct yellow 86 dye. When the multicolor dye set of the invention is applied in ink-jet printing process, the high-quality printed image possesses great light-fastness and water-fastness high chroma, broad color gamut.
