摘要: Provided is a technique capable of calculating a processing time of a server apparatus. A management computer connected to a server apparatus which is connected to a terminal computer through a network, includes a processor; a memory; and an interface. The processor acquires packets outputted from the server apparatus and packets inputted to the server apparatus, estimates a time at which the server apparatus starts to process the input packets, estimates a time at which the server apparatus completes the response to the input packets on the basis of a time change in the number of acquired output packets, and calculates the packet processing time of the server apparatus by subtracting the estimated processing start time from the estimated response completion time.

摘要: In a remote desktop system, information pertaining to client resources is included in screen information that a server manages to display in a client. In the remote desktop system, the client collects information pertaining to units making up the client or to programs as resource information, and sends the collected information to the server via a network. The server manages the resource information obtained from the client, and creates screen information to be displayed in the client. In the creation of the screen information, the server creates client screen information (first screen) including the resource information of the server within the screen information of the client, or creates server screen information (second screen) including the resource information of the client within the screen information of the server, and displays the first or second screen in the client.

摘要: A management system accepts a connection request from a client computer to a server computer, acquires connection settings information, calculates a network bandwidth required for processing for connection from the client computer to the server computer, stores the connection request into a connection request processing queue, determines whether the processing for the connection from the client computer to the server computer can be performed or not, and notifies the client computer of a server identification number. The client computer issues a connection request to the server computer based on the received server identification number, and starts communication therewith. In spite of concentration of connection requests from a large number of client computers to server computers, the connection requests can be processed while controlling the communication data volume generated in a network at a point where the server computers are aggregated, so as to avoid occurrence of congestion.

摘要: A communication system enables even an operator other than experts to correctly perform operations for a communication device such as an operation for modifying the configuration of the communication device without fail through simple operations without taking a long time for the operations, and permits the operator to keep track of the status of the operation in a remote management server. The communication device acquires an operational scenario from a management server, assigns the execution of the operational scenario to an operation input unit, and executes the operational scenario in response to an instruction which is issued from the operator by depressing an associated button on the input unit. The communication device displays the result of the execution on a display unit, and notifies the management server of the result.

摘要: The request from the client to the server is made through the traffic control apparatus. The traffic control apparatus includes a unit for controlling the request from the client, a unit for judging the data reception performance of the client and a unit for controlling the number of clients simultaneously connected to the server. The number of simultaneous connections in the server is controlled so that the resource of the server can be utilized sufficiently and the requests in number exceeding the performance of the server cannot be transferred. When it is expected that it takes time longer than a fixed time to provide the service to be required to the client, the request is rejected and when it is expected that the service can be provided within the fixed time, the request is received.

摘要: In a fluorescent display device having control electrodes and anodes, each anode having an anode electrode and a fluorescent layer formed thereon, a filament is installed between the control electrodes and the anode electrodes. When an anode is selected to be turned on to emit light, a first voltage (V1) is applied to the filament, a second voltage (V2) is applied to the selected anode and a third voltage (V3) is applied to a control electrode facing the selected anode, wherein V2 is greater than V1 and V3 is equal to or greater than V1. When a voltage applied to a target control electrode is lower than a voltage applied to the filament by more than a predetermined voltage difference, an anode facing the target control electrode is not turned on to emit light even when V2 is applied thereto.
