    摘要: An electronic apparatus is received on the front surface of an enclosure. A connector is connected to the electronic apparatus. When the electronic apparatus is to be demounted, an operating body is pulled out from a retract position toward a pulled-out position. A movable member moves from a first position to a second position. The movable member at the second position serves to protrude lifting members out of the front surface of the enclosure, so that the lifting members urge the electronic apparatus upward. The connector is disconnected from the electronic apparatus. The movable member allows the movement of the operating body from the pulled-out position to the retract position while the movable member stays at the second position. The operating body returns to the retract position while the disconnection is maintained between the connector and the electronic apparatus.

    摘要: A portable television-broadcast reception unit is provided which is capable of changing the direction of a directional antenna easily to a direction where an enough quality to watch television can be obtained. In this unit: a television-broadcast reception section 20 receives a broadcast wave using a directional antenna 10; a direction measurement section 60 measures the direction of the directional antenna 10; an electric-field strength measurement section 70 measures the electric-field strength value of the received broadcast wave; a storage section 30 stores an electric-field strength management table which includes the direction measured by the direction measurement section 60 and the electric-field strength value measured by the electric-field strength measurement section 70; a control section 40 controls the measurement of the direction and the measurement of the electric-field strength, updates the electric-field strength management table and selects the direction where the maximum electric-field strength value can be obtained; an image-turn processing section 80 turns the received image so that the upper part of the image is oriented to the direction where the maximum electric-field strength value can be obtained; and a display section 50 displays the turned image.

    摘要: A connector is mounted on a printed circuit board in an enclosure. A member is interposed between the enclosure and the printed circuit board so as to hold the printed circuit board on the enclosure. The member allows change in the attitude of the printed circuit board relative to the enclosure. When the connector is coupled to the other connector, the connector receives a force from the other connector in the electronic apparatus. The force induces the change in the attitude of the connector and the printed circuit board. The change in the attitude in this manner enables consumption of the energy of the force within the member. Generation of stress can be suppressed in a bonding member such as a solder coupling the connector with the printed circuit board, for example. Generation of cracks can be prevented in the solder. Shockproof is improved for the connector.

    摘要: A DWT unit applies wavelet transform to an input signal to output transform coefficients, and a quantization unit quantizes those transform coefficients with a quantization step size determined according to target image quality. Then, a rate control unit controls the rate of coded data according to information on the quantization step size. Also, an image-quality control unit controls the rate of only part of coded data which is determined from a priority table. This achieves a compression encoder which operates at high speed with minimal operations.
