    摘要: An apparatus and method are provided to perform an insulation-displacement connecting operation and a cover mounting operation efficiently, and hence to improve a yield for insulation-displacement joint connectors having many contacts. The apparatus includes a press unit (200) with a slide unit (220) for carrying connection-assisting parts, such as a wire-checking device for checking a housing of an insulation-displacement joint connector, a wire pushing device and a cover holder. A wire checking operation, a wire pushing operation and a cover mounting operation are performed continuously by switching the slide unit (220) by means of a switching device (230) and successively driving the connection-assisting parts by means of one press (210).

    摘要: A process for producing refined methacrylic acid comprising the steps of oxidizing methacrolein and the like catalytically in a vapor phase to form a methacrylic acid-containing gas, cooling and condensing the gas to an aqueous methacrylic acid solution, adding to the solution an organic solvent that forms two liquid phases with water to carry out an extraction operation and thereby to obtain an extract, bringing the extract into contact with water to mix them together, separating the mixture into an organic phase and a water phase, and distilling the organic phase. According to this process, highly refined methacrylic acid containing little dibasic acids such as maleic acid and citraconic acid can be obtained economically and without increasing wastes that are unrecoverable to the process.

    摘要: The present invention has its object to provide a direct hemoperfusion adsorber packed with an adsorbent made by using a water-insoluble carrier having a relatively readily available particle size distribution, with water-insoluble microparticles having been removed therefrom, without needing any special granulation apparatus or coating apparatus, and method of obtaining a direct hemoperfusion adsorbent having water-insoluble microparticles removed therefrom.Now, a direct hemoperfusion adsorber has been obtained that is packed with an adsorbent having a number average particle diameter of not smaller than 300 μm but not larger than 600 μm, with the coefficient of variance in particle diameter distribution being not lower than 10% but not higher than 20%, and having water-insoluble microparticles removed therefrom to a safe level, without the loss of the adsorbent, by using a water-insoluble microparticle-removing-mesh such that the ratio of the mesh opening size for removing water-insoluble microparticles to the mesh opening size of the adsorber is not lower than 1.3 but not higher than 1.5.
