    摘要: The present invention relates to a medical device for treating prostate diseases by using near-infrared LEDs (light emitting diodes), and more particularly, to a medical device for treating prostate diseases in which a probe having installed therein near-infrared LEDs and a vibrator is constructed to be inserted into the rectum, to radiate near-infrared rays to the prostate from a position closest to the prostate and render a direct physical massage function to the prostate, thereby effectively treating prostate-related diseases. Also, the present invention relates to a pad mechanism supplementing the probe mechanism, being brought into close contact with the perineal region to radiate red visible rays and transmit vibration to the organs around the prostate, thereby curing the natures of diseases in the organs around the prostate, and a disposable probe condom used in a state in which it is worn over the probe mechanism.

    摘要: A phototherapeutical apparatus is described, including a light source, generating high intensity visible light, in some embodiments in combination with ultraviolet light, an optical guidance system, and a patient interface. The patient interface can be insertable at least partially into a nasal cavity and is operable to apply the generated light to a tissue surface of the nasal cavity. Applying the apparatus includes providing the phototherapeutical apparatus, preparing for the application of the apparatus, inserting the patient interface into the nasal cavity, and applying the generated light by the patient interface to a tissue surface of the nasal cavity, wherein the tissue of the nasal cavity has an inflammatory or a hyperproliferative disease. The inflammatory diseases include rhinitis, sinusitis, and rhinosinusitis. A photodynamical therapy is also described, applying photosensitizing substances before the treatment with light. The phototherapeutical method is also effective for the prevention of inflammatory or hyperproliferative diseases.

    摘要: A laser treatment head guides a laser beam to a target area within a body cavity and includes a laser output element having a deflection element. The laser output element with deflection element is rotatable relative to a guide element about an axis. First and second thread elements mutually engage to cause the deflection element to perform a combined axial and rotational movement relative to the guide element. A control unit and the laser treatment head are configured such that the target area is irradiated by individual pulses (p) in a helical pattern of irradiation spots over a section of the circumference of the body cavity. The control unit is further configured such that reference locations (X) on the target area are irradiated by an individual pulse number (N) of subsequent pulses (p), thereby heating the mucosa tissue within the target area to a predetermined temperature.
