摘要: A swim in place system and method are provided. The system comprises a swim in place pool, at least one sensor, at least one pump associated with said at least one sensor, at least one processor, and a memory comprising instructions which when executed by the at least one processor configure the at least one processor to perform the method. The method comprises receiving object location data from at least one sensor, and actuating the at least one pump associated with the at least one sensor when the object is positioned inside a set perimeter within said swim in place pool. The object positioned in a swim in place pool.

摘要: A Exercise Pool is disclosed herein having a rigid frame modular in design to allow for improved delivery and assembling. As shown the system may be configured with a box like structure providing containment of the flow head and may be configured with a removable deck having an air gap built in. As disclosed the treadmill swimming pool system as its general configuration is safer for users as it inhibits and/or eliminates hair and body entrapment. As disclosed it has a balanced flow which better replicates or reproduces actual swimming conditions for an enhanced user experience. The propulsion system may be controlled with a variable frequency drive (VFD) to allow for improved swimming conditions and control of same.

摘要: A method and a system are described for operating a bathing unit system to provide swim-in-place functionality to a swimmer. A communication link is established between the bathing unit system and an auxiliary device worn by or implanted in the body of the swimmer. A signal conveying information associated with the swimmer and originating from the auxiliary device is received. Control signals for controlling operational settings associated with a propulsion assembly of the bathing unit system are derived at least in part by processing the information conveyed by the signal originating from the auxiliary device. The control signals are then released to control the operational settings associated with the propulsion assembly. In another aspect, a graphic display is provided presenting the user with a customized set of selectable swim-in-place configurations derived at least in part by processing a signal originating from an auxiliary device worn by or implanted in the body of the swimmer.

摘要: The present invention relates to an immersible, adjustable, surface compliant device and methods of using it an environment with variable, induced current flows for purposes of exercise, rehabilitation, or pure fun. The adjustable, immersible, surface compliant device can be used in pools, water tanks, or any body of water having a location where the device could be attached. The adjustable, immersible, surface compliant device and methods of using it are ideal for rehabilitating an injury, assisting aging bodies in performing exercises, and allowing the permanently injured to achieve movement and some degrees of physical autonomy despite being injured. In some embodiments, I disclose a trampoline-like device, having adjustable surface compliance, to be used in a pool or water tank having a current flow, wherein the angle of the trampoline is horizontally adjustable.
