摘要: A method for operating a bioreactor includes passing a drive shaft into a first tubular connector and a second tubular connector projecting from the first tubular connector, the first tubular connector and the second tubular connector being at least partially disposed within a container, the first tubular connector being more flexible than the second tubular connector, the second tubular connector having a length that comprises at least 20% of a combined length of the first tubular connector and the second tubular connector. Rotating the drive shaft so as to rotate the first tubular connector and the second tubular connector within the container.

摘要: A liquid mixing system includes a support housing at least partially bounding a compartment. A mount is secured to the support housing. A drive motor assembly is configured to engage a drive shaft for moving the drive shaft within the compartment of the support housing. A four bar linkage system extends between the mount and the drive motor assembly, the four bar linkage system being movable between a first position wherein the drive motor assembly is disposed at a first elevation and a second position wherein the drive motor assembly is disposed at a second elevation that is different from the first elevation.

摘要: A microscale bioreactor system for and method is disclosed for providing improved cell culture growth conditions in a small-volume vessel. For example, a microbioreactor system is provided that may include a small-volume vessel and wherein the small-volume vessel may include a field of actuatable surface-attached microposts. Further, the microbioreactor system may include an actuation mechanism for actuating the surface-attached microposts into movement. In some embodiments, the surface-attached microposts may be functionalized with, for example, activation signals for converting standard T-cells in a growth media to activated T-cells. Further, a method of using the microbioreactor system for providing cell culture growth conditions including enhanced oxygenation and nutrients distribution in a small-volume vessel is provided.

摘要: The present disclosure provides a cell separation apparatus for a bioreactor, which comprises: a cell separation component, which is arranged in a tank and immersed below the liquid level of the mixture and includes a filter membrane and a liquid guiding groove; and a tangential flow driving component, which includes one or more blades. The cell separation apparatus implements a low shear force and the filter membrane is not blocked easily. The present disclosure also provides a stirring system including a central shaft and a multi-layer paddle component. The multi-layer paddle component includes an upper paddle component, an intermediate paddle component and a bottom paddle component arranged around the central shaft.
