    摘要: A method for tracking a pollution source in process water is presented. Firstly, variation curves of drain water drained from different rinsing tanks are respectively obtained, and a water quality concentration of the drain water drained to a buffer tank is detected, so as to output a water quality variation curve. Then, an analytical comparison is performed on each drain water amount variation curve and the water quality variation curve within a same time interval, so as to output an analytical result of each flow of drain water in a range exceeding a predetermined water quality standard. In this manner, the drain water that exceeds the predetermined water quality standard can be tracked in real-time according to the analytical result, thereby quickly improving the process for discharging the drain water.

    摘要: Systems and processes for the removal of fluorochemicals from water are provided. Systems according to the invention include a vessel containing the ion exchange resin, the ion exchange resin including an insoluble matrix having functional groups bonded to the matrix, the functional groups being amines of the formula: N(R1R2R3) Where N is nitrogen; and R1, R2 and R3 are hydrocarbon groups and can be the same or different, normal, branched and/or partially or fully substituted (e.g., fluorinated) and having a carbon chain length of C1 or greater, the hydrocarbon chain optionally including polar groups (e.g., O, N, S). An inlet for directing a flow of water into the vessel is provided to facilitate contact between the water and the ion exchange resin; and an outlet is provided to direct a flow of water out of the vessel after the water is treated. A process for the removal of fluorochemicals from water is also provided by exposing water to the foregoing ion exchange resin, maintaining the water in contact with the resin for a period of time, and thereafter separating the water from the resin.

    摘要: Contaminated water stored in an equalization basin is distributed to one or more flash vessels and a desired vacuum is pulled in a filled flash vessel, reducing the boiling point of the contained contaminated water. The suction force is preferably created by passing the contaminated water under pressure through a differential pressure injector. The contaminated water in the flash vessel completes an electrical circuit between conductive plates and a heating element that are submerged therein. An alternating electrical current is applied, some of which is conducted by the contaminated water to a heating element that heats the water, and the rest of which dissipates as thermal energy, heating the contaminated water. The alternating current is preferably generated by passing the contaminated water under pressure through a hydroelectric power generator. Little thermal energy is needed to evaporate the contaminated water, which condenses at the top of the flash vessel and is collected from a collection trough. Slurry created by distillation is delivered to the equalization basin to increase the conductivity and temperature of the stored contaminated water.
