    摘要: In accordance with the present invention there are provided hyperbranched benzobisazole polymers having repeating units of the formulas: and hyperbranched bibenzazole polymers having repeating units of the formulas: wherein Q is —S— or —NH—; the terminal groups X and Y are COOH and respectively, with their total number (X+Y) equals n+1, where n=degree of polymerization. The ratio X:Y can be controlled by varying the stoichiometric ratio of trimesic acid (A3 monomer) and 2,5-diamino-1,4-dimercaptobenzene dihydrochloride (B2 monomer) from 1:1 to 1.1.35.

Provided is a hyperbranched polyimide-based hybrid material constituted of an organic-inorganic polymer hybrid, wherein the organic-inorganic polymer hybrid has a hyperbranched polyimide moiety and an inorganic oxide moiety which are combining each other via covalent bond and constituting a composite structure.

    摘要: The aim of the present invention is to provide a multi-branched polymer, in which branch terminals can be easily modified and which have a high degree of branching and narrow dispersion. By polymerizing a compound having 2 or more polymerization-initiation sites and polymerizable unsaturated bonds with a living radical polymerization method using a metal catalyst, it is possible to produce a multi-branched polymer with narrow dispersion and a high degree of branching and having repeating units represented by the formula (I): wherein R1 to R3 each independently represents hydrogen or a hydrocarbon group, R1 may be bonded to R3 to form a ring; X represents a connecting group having a valence of 3 or higher; Y may be the same or different and each represents a functional group which may have a halogen atom at a terminal thereof; and a is an integer of 2 or larger.

    摘要: Disclosed is a novel optically stable hyperbranched polymer whose molecular terminal can be derivatized with various compounds; and a method for producing such a polymer. Specifically disclosed is a hyperbranched polymer having a structure represented by Formula (1) wherein a halogen atom is at a molecular terminal. The hyperbranched polymer can be obtained by substituting the molecular terminal dithiocarbamate group of a hyperbranched polymer having a dithiocarbamate group at a molecular terminal, which is obtained by living radical polymerization of a dithiocarbamate compound having a vinyl group structure, with a halogen atom. Also disclosed is a hyperbranched polymer wherein an amino group or an ammonium group is at a molecular terminal instead of a halogen atom.

A process to prepare the hyperbranched polymer comprises contacting maleic anhydride with at least one terminally unsaturated acyclic aliphatic diene having at least 7 carbon atoms in the presence of an effective amount of a radical initiator in an aprotic solvent under dilute conditions.

A generic method for preparing the polymers is provided. Also provided are the star block copolymers derived from these hyperbranched benzazole polymers and linear poly(ether-ketones) having the following generic formula where x and y are the numbers of repeat units for each poly(ether-ketone) chain; the placement of the carbonyl moieties in the repeat units of the poly(ether-ketone) chains can be either meta or para to the phenoxy groups; the maximal number of poly(ether-ketone) chains is n+1, where n=number of repeat units for hyperbranched polybenzazole). A general method for synthesizing these star block copolymers is provided.
