    摘要: A wind power generation system includes: a wind turbine in which at least one blade is mounted on an axis; a generator for generating multiphase alternating current power by rotation of the axis; and a multiphase power conversion device for performing PWM-control for adjustment and output of generated power of the generator. With the configuration, the PWM-control provides for each phase a control paused period in which no overlap occurs. Thus, the pulse density between the control period and the control paused period of other phases is low, thereby generating high and low density in an inter-phase pulse.

    摘要: A power generation system is disclosed for supplying power to an electrical grid. The system comprises a synchronous machine and coupling means for coupling the synchronous machine to a prime mover. Control means are provided to control the system such that the system is selectively operable in two modes. In the first mode, the synchronous machine is coupled to the prime mover and acts as a synchronous generator to supply power to the grid. In the second mode the synchronous machine is decoupled from the prime mover and acts as a synchronous condenser. This can allow parameters of the grid, such as power factor and voltage, to be adjusted.

    摘要: A wind turbine is provided, the wind turbine comprising, a synchronous generator having a stator and a rotor, an AC-DC-AC link for coupling said synchronous generator to a grid, wherein the DC link is connected to the rotor of said synchronous generator for supplying an excitation voltage to a rotor winding of said rotor. Furthermore, a method of starting a wind turbine with an electrically excited synchronous generator is provided, the method comprising the steps of (a) opening a grid contactor; (b) closing a bypass contactor to bypass a grid-side DC-AC inverter of said wind turbine; (c) charging a DC link of said wind turbine; (d) supplying an excitation voltage to rotor windings of said synchronous generator, wherein said excitation voltage is supplied from the DC link; and (e) opening said bypass connector and closing said grid connector.

    摘要: The present invention concerns a synchronous machine with preferably salient poles with pole windings which are galvanically connected together. The invention further concerns a wind power installation and a method of monitoring a synchronous machine of a wind power installation. The object of the invention is to develop a synchronous machine and a method of operating a synchronous machine, such that the risk of a fire is reduced. A synchronous machine comprising a rotor which has a plurality of poles which are each provided with at least one respective pole winding, wherein the pole windings of a plurality of poles are galvanically connected together by means of a first conductor through which an exciter current flows, characterized in that laid substantially parallel to the first conductor is a monitoring conductor which is acted upon or which can be acted upon with a predeterminable signal, that the monitoring conductor is coupled or connected to a device for detecting the signal and that upon an interruption in the first conductor same is or can be detected by a signal variation in the monitoring conductor and the device for detecting the signal is coupled to a control device which then at least reduces and preferably switches off the exciter current through the first conductor.
