    摘要: A magnetic transmission is provided with: an inner rotor; an outer rotor; and a magnetic-field-modulating stator disposed coaxially between the inner rotor and the outer rotor. The inner rotor is provided with a first magnet array and a second magnet array arranged in the direction of the central axis and disposed at different pitches along the circumferential direction. The outer rotor is provided with a magnet array disposed along the circumferential direction. The magnetic-field-modulating stator is provided with a first magnetic body array and a second magnetic body array opposing the first magnet array and the second magnet array, respectively. Further, by moving the inner rotor and the magnetic-field-modulating stator in the direction of the central axis while holding the opposing relationship between the first magnetic body array and the second magnetic body array, and the first magnet array and the second magnet array, the position where the outer rotor, and the first magnet array and the second magnet array oppose each other is changed continuously.

The exciter stator permanent magnet apparatus (45) comprises exciter stator permanent magnets (15a), springs (16) that apply force to the exciter stator permanent magnets (15a) towards positions facing an exciter rotor winding (15b), and electromagnetic solenoids (20) that make the exciter stator permanent magnets (15a) move to positions not facing the exciter rotor winding (15b) in resistance to the force applied by the springs (16).

The motor includes a stator, a rotor including rotor cores circumferentially spaced apart from one another inside the stator and permanent magnets disposed between the respective rotor cores which extend radially from the stator, and a magnetic flux adjustment unit including a ring-shaped main frame, magnetic substance portions extending from the main frame so as to be circumferentially spaced apart from one another and non-magnetic regions defined between the magnetic substance portions. The magnetic flux adjustment unit is rotatable to control the leakage magnetic flux from the rotor cores.

    摘要: A permanent magnet motor/generator that includes a stator, a rotor provided with a plurality of permanent magnets at a peripheral surface thereof and having a central axis which coincides with the central axis of the stator, a rotatable shaft upon which the rotor is coupled, and an actuator for moving the rotor with respect to the stator axially along the rotatable shaft a sufficient distance to completely decouple the rotor from the stator so as to eliminate magnet induced torque drag. When the permanent magnet/generator is used in parallel hybrid vehicles, the ability to completely decouple the rotor from the stator greatly improves range and efficiency. In addition, by progressively engaging the rotor with the stator a desired voltage output can be obtained upon deceleration.
